A spacious vacation home right on the water—with its own dock, rowboat, large fenced-in yard, plenty of play options, and room for 12+ guests. Just about an hour south of Berlin.

The house is especially lovely for families of friends, larger groups of friends, and multigenerational families who want to get away together and spend time with each other in a spacious setting.

The vacation home is located right on the Dahme-Umflut Canal between the Dahme Lake District and the Spreewald. Have breakfast outside in the morning, jump into the water from your own dock, go out in a rowboat, play table tennis, cook together, or simply sit somewhere in the garden and enjoy the peace and quiet while the children play on the fenced-in property.

What our guests especially appreciate: Here, you don’t have to plan a full schedule. All around the house, it’s wonderfully easy to let the day unfold naturally. It’s a place for shared meals, long conversations, children’s laughter, time outdoors, and relaxed days with the people who matter most to you.

THE HOUSE

The house offers plenty of space, especially for larger groups.

You’ll have access to a sunroom, a dining room, a covered patio, and another outdoor patio with a parasol. The backyard has seating for more than 20 people and is ideal for long breakfasts, shared meals, and relaxed evenings. In addition, you’ll find further seating, play areas, and spaces to relax throughout the property.

The house also features:

* a spacious, fully equipped kitchen
* spacious living and common areas
* Wi-Fi and TV
* a workspace with a large monitor
* 2 bathrooms
* Games in the living room
* an additional game and lounge area in the attic

Especially when the weather is changeable, it’s nice that not everyone has to stay in a single room.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS FOR 12 GUESTS – MORE UPON REQUEST

The sleeping arrangements are spread across different areas of the house:

* Attic: Sleeps 4
* Bedroom 1: Sleeps 2
* Bedroom 2: Sleeps 2
* Dining room: pull-out sofa bed for 2 people
* Living room: additional mattress for 2 people

This means 12 people can comfortably stay overnight in the house. Bedding and towels are also provided for 12 people.

If you’d like to come with an even larger group, that’s possible too: The sofas offer up to 3 additional simple sleeping arrangements. Tents or a camper can also be easily accommodated on the large property.

If you’re traveling with a larger group, just let us know in advance.

A PARADISE FOR CHILDREN

The spacious property is completely fenced in and offers children plenty of room to play, run around, and explore.

Outdoors, there are, for example:

* Soccer facilities
* Table tennis table
* plenty of vehicles and toys

There are also plenty of toys and books indoors in the living room and in the attic.

This is especially wonderful when several families are together: The children always find something to do, while the adults can enjoy their time on the patio, in the sunroom, in the garden, or by the water.

YOUR OWN SPOT BY THE WATER

Right in front of the property is your own dock on the Dahme-Umflut Canal.

Here you can swim, fish—please bring your own fishing gear—sit by the water, or take a rowboat out for a spin. The boat is available for your use during your stay.

For many of our guests, it’s precisely this immediate proximity to the water that makes this place so special: You don’t have to plan a day at the beach or drive anywhere first. The water is simply right there.

RELAX AND CELEBRATE TOGETHER

The house is also ideal for family gatherings, birthdays, anniversaries, and other special occasions in a peaceful setting. There’s even room for a rented bounce house—children’s birthday parties, in particular, become an unforgettable experience here for young and old alike!

QUIET LOCATION SURROUNDED BY NATURE

The peaceful, nature-filled setting is part of the house’s charm.

The nearest shopping options are about 5 km away. We therefore recommend traveling by car or bicycle. The vacation home is not really suitable for a stay without your own means of transportation. This way, you can also quickly reach swimming lakes, Spreewald towns, and many other destinations.

EXCURSIONS IN THE AREA

There’s also plenty to discover in the surrounding area, for example:

* Schlepzig, Lübben, Lübbenau, and Burg for a classic day in the Spreewald
* Lake Köthen and Halbe Swimming Lake – approx. 10–15 min.
* Tropical Islands – approx. 15–20 min.
* IRRLANDIA Hands-On Park Storkow – approx. 20–25 min.
* Johannismühle Wildlife Park – approx. 25 min.
* Lübben Castle Island with a large water playground – approx. 25 min.
* Spreewelten Bad Lübbenau – approx. 30–35 min.
* Gläserne Molkerei – approx. 10–15 min.
* SATAMA Sauna Resort & Spa for a relaxing day of wellness
* Berlin Alexanderplatz – easily accessible by train from Halbe in about 1 hour

As a small group of 5 adults and 5 children, we were able to enjoy a wonderful short vacation in this quietly located cottage. The arrangements leading up to our stay were very straightforward, and the communication was extremely friendly and warm. We were personally greeted upon arrival and given a brief tour of the property. The hostess was always available to answer any questions we had.
Our children were able to enjoy the countless play options in the spacious garden until late in the evening without any worries. There were also plenty of activities indoors. There were books and games for every age group, and a lovingly furnished playroom in the attic.
