We had perfect weather for a large group to gather at “the beach house” we had coffee in the decks , sunset and sun rise swimming at the beach that is steps away plenty of room in the house for meals and visiting we LOVE this house

Steps from the beach!

This home is all about location, and the lovely decks with water views. Our teenagers could come and go to the beach as they pleased! Instructions were clear and the host was super responsive. We’ll be back!

Very nice house. Owner was responsive. Great location right near the beach. Very short walk. Good view from house. Mattresses a little in the hard side and not the most comfortable for sleeping. Other than that no complaints

We can’t wait to come back next summer!

We just fell in love with this house! It was everything we wanted: plenty of beds, tons of space to relax, super clean, steps from the beach and a quiet neighborhood. The playground and nature walk area were awesome. The owner was supe friendly and responded to every questions, no matter how small. i was almost afraid to leave my review for fear that too many people would find this amazing gem!!!

Marion house with beach views

We enjoyed the location near the beach and the house had potential to be a unique experience, but the interior appointments were rather spartan and cold. The bedrooms were decent sized, but void of any furnishings other than a bed. Two BRs had only a single twin and 1 BR had a double, no king beds. Would recommend upgrading the beds to include at least 1 king bed & either 2 twins or a queen in the other BRs. Perhaps some wall art, BR dressers and carpets in FR would provide some much needed personality and warmth.

Beautiful home and beach

This home was beautiful, spacious and located in a private area . We had family from out of town for six days and each day was amazing . Relaxing breakfasts on the stunning deck and then the 3 min walk to Silvershell Beach for the day . The home is very comfortable and clean with tons of space for guests . Close proximity to delicious restaurants was wonderful . We can’t wait to back . Lucy , host , was so friendly and can’t thank her enough for opening up her home to us . She’s the best !

Large home with many amenities to host a large family getaway. Lucy was easy to reach and helpful! The location is beautiful and the 3 days offered us a real feel for charming New England town!

Great water view!

Really nice clean property. Lucy the owner was phenomenal, responds quick to any question. There was only one down fall and I mean only one and that was the bed. My husband and I were hurting felt like we were sleeping on rocks. Maybe a good idea to invest in a comfy mattress topper.

Superb Location For Our Needs

We are an extended multi generational family and this spot couldn’t have worked out better. This home has an interesting floor plan laid out over multiple levels. We were able to sleep the little ones and mom and dad on one level with their own bonus family room and bath. Two bedrooms for two adult couples on the next level with their own bath. The “mezzanine” level has a large living room for hanging or reading and the first level has a spacious dining area with an extra large table that accommodated us all adjacent to a well equipped kitchen. There are multiple decks and even a balcony off the primary bedroom all facing a most beautiful view of the beach and bay. There are many steps that make privacy available to each party so this may not be the place for some seniors and we were sure to keep an eye on the smallest in our party on the stairs. Inside is lovely. Outside was outstanding for our needs. Walk just a few hundred feet and you are at Silvershell Beach which is a gentle family friendly beach. There are plenty of beach chairs so you can leave yours at home. Just across the street is an expansive park big enough to fly kites with a basketball court and a lovely small playground. We didn’t spend much time away from this amazing property only an occasional run to buy “off the boat” fresh seafood from Turks and to restock the wine and beer all of which is minutes away. Dealing with the owner Lucy was a dream. She gave us clear instructions on how to use everything in this well equipped house. Thank you Lucy. We can’t wait to return next summer.

A fantastic place to stay

Our family loved staying in this rental. There are plenty of bedrooms and lots of space to spread out, including a large deck with a great view. My husband I shared it with our daughter, her husband, and their 2 children, ages 3 and 5. It is in a fantastic location--the sandy beach is a short walk, and there is a playground across the street. Lucy is great to work with and very accommodating. We would rent this again!

Large beautiful property at perfect location.

The house was large and spacious with plenty of room for our family of 7. It was great having all the living necessities onsite like bedding, cookware and linen. Water pressure was amazing, best shower Ive had in years! House was big enough to give us all privacy from each other as well. Lucy was amazing to work with and very helfpul thru out our entire stay. Beach was i short walking distance to the beach where kids had a blas jumping off the rafts in the deep. Would definitly stay again!

Roomy, comfortable, and very well stocked

This property is excellent for a large family. Dining room table seats 12 with 3 stools at kitchen bar nearby, so that all can eat together. Kitchen is well stocked with anything you need. Home is close to beach and playground where my 5 grandkids played on the swings and other toys. Overall, a wonderful venue for us all.

Absolutely loved our stay there. House is beautiful and location is perfect.

We booked this place last minute and we really lucked out. The house fitted our needs perfectly. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, sleep, play games watch TV and eat together. House was immaculate and the easy access to the beautiful Silver Shell beach and center of town was a plus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would love to go back. Lucy was an absolute joy to deal with.
