This is a 50year old place. Perfect if you want to disconnect from everything.The room has no fridge, no TV, no hairdryer. Limited toiletries but the beach is one of the most beautiful in the area.

Beautiful Property, Tough August Stay — Saved by Incredible Staff We stayed at La Valise Los Cabos in August — beautiful property, but not the right season or setup for it. Temperatures hit 37°C, and AC was only available at night (apparently due to solar panel capacity limits), leaving daytime genuinely hard to bear. The property also sits in rugged, undeveloped desert with nothing walkable nearby, so you're confined to a small space while dealing with intense heat. Food and drinks were delicious when available, but the menu was often depleted — again seemingly tied to the same infrastructure limits, not lack of effort. What truly saved our stay was the staff , especially Adan and Alvaro. They were kind, knowledgeable, and endlessly helpful, anticipating problems before we even noticed them and handling constant supply and cooling challenges with real grace. Honestly, we don't think the stay would have been enjoyable without them. They are the heart of this property, and management should recognize what exceptional people they have. Bottom line: gorgeous property fighting its own infrastructure in August — but Adan and Alvaro turned a potentially disappointing trip into one we'll remember fondly.

The reviews and photos do not prepare you adequately for this magical spot. The views of the ocean, the peacefulness, stargazing with the sound of the surf. The staff is wonderful. These people clearly love what they do, and it shows. Smiles and kindness not only for the guests but eacothed as well. Can’t wait for a return visit.
