This review is getting the second star based solely on the fact that the nice man at the desk tried his best to fix a horrid situation with.
Arrived on Christmas Eve (12/24/25) and checked into our room (210). The room was not clean; the floors weren't clean, there looked to be coffee splattered on the walls and the sink was backed up and smelled like old grease and mold. When we told them about the sink, they offered us a plunger as they said that the maintenance man wouldn't be there until Monday. He was there, we actually met him later that night after he knocked on a door down the hall from us and announced himself as "Maintenance". We ended up moving to another room (211) which was only marginally better. At least the sink wasn't clogged. The floors were still disgusting and turned the bottoms of all of our feet black. The roach motel in the bathroom was not very nice to look at. The tub was dirty and missing the drain trap completely, the shower curtain wasn't clean, the duvets did not have covers on them, the lighting in the room was diabolical. The light over the sink was so dim it was practically useless, there was no light that the "main switch" turned on and the lamp closest to the door was only there for looks because the cord had been cut completely off.
We will not be returning to Baymont by Wyndham in Marianna.
To the sharp dressed sweet heart that really tried his best for us under the guven circumstances, I wish you nothing but the best, that ⭐️ is for you.
