This centrally located oasis invites you to bask in its incredible backyard. Take a refreshing dip in the inviting pool or unwind beneath the shade of the charming tiki bar after a day of exploring the enchanting Florida Keys. Marathon offers a multitude of activities to enjoy, but if you're eager to venture further, both Key West and Key Largo are just an hour's drive away, promising even more adventures in this tropical paradise. Your dream Keys vacation awaits at Lo-Key 1!

IMPORTANT POLICIES FOR YOUR STAY:



For Sale: This property is currently listed for sale, and guest bookings are limited to stays with check-out dates within the next 90 days.



Age & Occupancy: The booking tenant must be 25 years or older and must occupy the property for the entire duration of the stay. This property is exclusively available as a vacation rental and not for worker housing.



Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited to maintain a smoke-free environment.



Pet Policy: Up to two friendly and well-behaved dogs 20 LBS or less will be considered with a $30/night pet fee. To help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all, we require every guest to submit pet or assistance animal information through BetterPet Passport. Guests will simply submit "household pet" information, request an accommodation for an assistance animal, or confirm they are not bringing a pet/animal. It's free, and only requires creating an account if you're bringing a pet or animal. After booking, you'll receive a link to complete the process.



Mid-Stay Cleaning: For stays of 28 nights or more, we reserve the right to require a mid-stay cleaning to maintain the quality of the property. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning will be required every 28 nights thereafter. The cost will be collected separately, and the number of cleanings depends on the length of your stay.



No Dockage Available: We regret to inform you that there is no dockage available at Lo-Key 1. This property is a dry lot, but there are plenty of nearby options for water enthusiasts to explore.



Local Wildlife & Pest Control: The Florida Keys are home to various insects (mosquitoes, no-see-ums, termites), reptiles, chickens, Key deer, and other wildlife. While routine pest control is in place, complete elimination is not possible. Guests should take precautions, such as using insect repellent and keeping doors closed, to minimize exposure.



Construction & Renovation Notice: Due to ongoing growth in the Florida Keys, renovations, construction, and road repairs may occur without prior notice. While we strive to provide a peaceful stay, iTrip Key West is not liable for any inconveniences caused by nearby construction.

Marathon Oasis

Loved this home for our vacation stay. My husband and I with our two small pups enjoyed the beautiful back yard, pool and pretty home. Appreciated the comfy large sofa too.We explored the Keys from this location and will return. Loved Sombrero Beach and Curry Hammock Park. And bonus, within walking distance of an ice cream shop.

Family getaway

We loved staying at this house. We had a small issue with the shower, I messaged Lisa and she responded right away and had a plumber out asap. The outside bar/patio was so fun to spend our evenings. We didn’t have super hot weather so the pool was a bit chilly but marathon is a such a beautiful city that we kept busy anyway!

perfect jumping off point for our Keys adventure

This was a great place for our multi-generation family trip. We had a 4 year old and 10 month old and the rooms were perfect for all of us. The pool deck was nice and enclosed for the littles. We didn't spend as much time on the patio as we expected because we were so busy with Key's adventures. Neighborhood was quiet and comfortable. We'd have liked more serving dishes because we had many evening meals at home. But otherwise, great place

Overall nice place to stay

We stayed at Lo-Key 1 the week of March 16-23. Overall we were pleased with the house. A few things that we did not find quite as positive: 1) the trundle bed was left very dirty with sand and dirt in the bed so we did not use it 2) the neighborhood was not quite as nice as we expected, but we did not have any issues with the neighbors 3) we discovered that the microwave would trip the breaker if it was opened before the time had ended - this occurred several times before we figured out the root of the issue 4) the house was a bit small for 2 families totaling 8 people 5) the pool was nice but is in need of some TLC - the ladder is fairly close to not being functional 6) it would be nice if the house had some beach gear available for use Things we liked about the house: 1) the location was nice within Marathon - close to a lot of great restaurants and the stores we frequented 2) we loved having the ice cream place on the corner within walking distance 3) the appliances were updated and worked well 4) the kitchen was stocked fairly well for our group of 8 5) the pool and deck area were large enough for our big group and we enjoyed them (except for the mosquitoes that came out every evening) 6) we actually enjoyed being close to the airport because we got to watch all of the private planes and helicopters taking off each day Overall, the house offered what the listing said it would and we were pleased with our stay.

Quiet peaceful

We stayed 5 weeks. The house was great. Quiet neighborhood. My only issue is the pool. Pool guy said they ordered part but it didn’t come in. Other than that I highly recommend this house!!!

Great house in Marathon

Had a really nice stay last week Lo-Key 1. Such a nice house recently redone. Had all the amenities you need for a long stay. Kitchen was really nice. Loves the pool space—and pool itself. Everything was super clean and well cared for. Only negative was location. The airport is across the road and was super active, mostly in the daytime. Some of the neighbors were loud and used, shall we say, adult rats language. This is no fault of the owner but something to consider if you are sensitive to that. Other than that—it’s awesome and I would definitely stay again.

Great property

The property was perfect for our group of 5. The house was very clean and nicely furnished. We really enjoyed the backyard with the pool and deck area. The backyard felt very private and secluded. Would definitely stay there again.

February in the Keys

Thank you for such a well appointed kitchen. The house was clean, and amenities as listed were available. We spent a lot of time on the deck around the pool and occasionally in the pool. The outdoor kitchen came in great for our cook outs. The living and sleeping accommodations were comfortable. Would have liked an ensuite bathroom for one of the main bedrooms but made do with the two separate bathrooms. Except for the bathrooms, the rest of the house, interior and exterior, was in good condition and could tell it had recently been remodeled. The location was convenient to Sombero Beach, Key West and Islamorada.

Last minute trip

After briefly looking on VRBO we found this property that met all of our needs. They reservation and check in process were very simple. The use of an electronic code to access the home was very beneficial. This newly renovated home was clean and well appointed. The pictures on the website are very realistic. Great location in Marathon. Easy access to restaurants, beaches and travel to the north and south. Would definitely stay here again win in the area.
