Palm Studded property 1/2 acre property overlooking the Gulf, Can you say Beach House? Panoramic Open water views from your living area, Dock, Tranquil fenced in yard with in ground heated concrete pool. From House, to Dock, to Beach, to Pool, this home has it all. Breathtaking sunsets right from the dock. Almost like your own island!

When we decided to purchase a home in the Florida Keys privacy and being close to nature was top on our list of requirements. We found the perfect combination on Grassy Key, a small island between Islamorada and Marathon made famous by 'Flipper' and the Dolphin Research Center.

On Grassy Key we are close enough to enjoy Marathon restaurants and grocery shopping yet still be able to explore dive sites in both the Upper and Lower Keys!

The perfect location has now been turned into the perfect oasis. Special features include a gourmet kitchen that will please the most discriminating chef. Our guests enjoy luxury bedding with quality linens, fluffy towels and bathrobes. Wireless internet service and cable tv.

After a full day in the sun there is no better place to relax than in the cool fresh water pool surrounded by the lush gardens. Check out the massive coconut and royal palms, the 9' high bird of paradise, the banana and key lime trees, blooming hibiscus and orchids. Just don't lay under the coconut trees!

So whether you are coming to the keys to relax, fish, kayak, snorkel, dive or whatever your heart desires the White Sands has it all for you.

Loved the house and location! It was well stocked with everything we needed...pool floats, beach towels, kayaks etc. The pool area was the prettiest I've seen in any vacation house we've stayed in. Any questions we had were quickly answered by the property manager. Would definitely stay here again!

Location is amazing; the property needs some more attention

My wife and I stayed here and enjoyed our time due to how private and secluded the location and neighborhood is. However, there were a few things that really made us wonder if the property was being kept up with. First off, the pool looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week when we arrived with multiple iguana poops in it. My wife and I didn’t feel comfortable going into the water even after the pool crew came as they didn’t really do anything to sterilize. We found multiple dirty dishes left from previous guests in the dishwasher and a cockroach in the oven mitts running around. Mold was in both the coffee machines so we refrained from using them at any point. Overall, the house needs some work and more attention from the cleaning staff.

Very Nice Property

Our stay was very nice... the house was very well stocked; communication with property manager was prompt and very helpful. Loved sitting on the porch or the chairs on the grass (no other outdoor seating out of the sun). The grounds were very well kept and beautiful... the grass yard was gorgeous and quite rare for the Keys. We did get bit by no-see-ums, and the turtle grass was quite thick on the beach. This made it not so fun to launch kayaks. There really is no other way to do it for 'old folks', but to go right through it (sinking almost knee deep). I have to say, it did dissuade us from using them more. The kayaks were definitely used, and the fleet could use a 'refresh'. There seems to be resident turtles off the dock that made daily appearances. Also, I have to say, it was great having bathrooms off of each bedroom (ideal for 2 couples travelling together).

PARADISE!

We have stayed at this property since 2011. She feels like home every time we come. The pictures of the property are accurate. No, you cannot see the sun set on the water, but after it goes down the sky is simply amazing! Breath taking!! The grounds & pool are well maintained. We were visited every day by a turtle off the pier. Saw some sting rays too! Already booked for next year!!

Gorgeous views in a well equipped home

We had a lovely time in Grassy Key. This home was probably one of the best appointed homes I’ve stayed in. It seemed to have just about everything. The views are spectacular. Large windows to take in all the sights. The yard had amazing landscaping. Great location if you want to travel north or south. This is not the fault of the owner, but staying on Grassy Key comes with its downsides. As the name suggests the sea grass washes in and with it can be a terrible odor from time to time. While the pier and fishing dock are a great asset to the home the amount of bird droppings made it difficult to enjoy that.

Great house in nice quiet neighborhood! Close to Marathon for groceries, restaurants etc. Loved the proximity to Curry Hammock State Park, nice quiet beach! Not far from larger Sombrero Beach. House was clean and exactly as pictured! Would rent again!

This is a wonderful property. Very clean, spacious, perfect spot in the middle of the Keys. Plenty of activities around this area. We kayaked with the kayaks provided, we swam and snorkeled around the dock and beyond. The pool area was gorgeous as well. The peace and serenity the property provided was immeasurable. I highly recommend this property!

Perfect, Just Perfect!

We have rented many VRBOs over the years, and this one is by far the best one we've had. The quiet location off the road, and near Marathon, made it easy to get to restaurants, groceries, shopping and more! If you want to be in the middle keys, this is the place! From the moment we walked in the door, we were in awe. The view is just amazing! Still can't stop looking at our pics. The deck, with plenty of seating, and a grill, were used daily to enjoy lazy mornings and tasty dinners. So many fish were caught on the dock, and we appreciated the frozen bait provided. We used the Kayaks and the pool daily. The landscaping was spectacular and well maintained. We could have easily spent the entire week at the house with all the amenities! The interior was spotless and everything was in working order. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, we slept easy after returning from our days exploring. It was a dream to stay here and we will cherish the memories for years to come!

Stop looking and book your stay here

This place is paradise, and we didn't want to leave. Its simply perfect. The listing and photos are accurate, communication leading up to the stay was great, check-in was a breeze, and WOW what a view. House and grounds were clean and immaculately kept up. We loved the pool, and views at the end of the dock. From the dock we saw mangrove snapper, barracuda, small nurse sharks, rays, lobsters and more... Its a great quiet location, close enough to everything, yet felt like you were miles away from all the stresses of the world. We can't wait to come back soon.

Two weeks in Kokomo

Listing represented the property well. Holli was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Great location. Privacy and the pier are the key selling points. Home was cozy and clean.
