"Laurie was super nice and helpful with everything hotel and mackinaw city/island related. the campsite and beach were a huge plus. for a small motel it was very nice, clean, modern, and updated. would definitely stay there again."

"The staff person at check-in was super helpful and kind. Our room was nicely prepared and clean. We were on the second floor and would ask for a first floor room in the future as lugging luggage up the stairs (in the rain) wasn't fun. The parking area is minimal and we couldn't park by our room. Also noteworthy is there is no outside area to use for eating or outside seating. It was pretty no frills but we would stay there again for cost and convenience."

"This was the cleanest motel we've ever stayed in and everything about it was pleasant and well thought out. In addition to the great amenities, it was really nice to be able to walk to local shops, the Mackinac Bridge, and to dinner at Audie's. We will definitely stay here again!"

"The hotel was ok. The staff was fantastic. The breakfast was always hot and plentiful. The only thing about the hotel was it was extremely noisy. The air conditioner and the bathroom fan was like a freight train coming through. Other than that everything was good. I would stay there again."

"This was the cutest hotel. We stayed in a room with a view of the lake. The included breakfast was elevated from your typical hotel breakfast options. The rooms were nicely updated, although you could tell that some pieces were not yet fully completed ( untouched up trim). "The rooms could use updating. Not that it has to be done, but with the prices they were charging there’s no reason why they couldn’t. The lock barely locked on my patio door, which was on the ground floor. Bathroom outside of our room was very filthy. Hot tub and pool had a funky color to them. The exercise room (3 pieces of equipment total, no weights) was non-functional, with one extremely loud treadmill, a bike that didn’t work and a bike with no seat."

"It was a beautiful, huge room with big fluffy towels and the jacuzzi was very nice. The jacuzzi had some rust in the lines, so when I ran the jets, it made some yucky orange bubbles, but I just wiped the sides, emptied it, and refilled it. That was all it needed. I highly recommend! I didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice too."
