"This building is definitely old and has some wear but that only adds to the character and charm. Even though the room was small, it had everything we needed and some extra special touches, like a chocolate left bedside and tissues on both sides of the bed. It was cozy and homey. The snack area was well stocked and had an amazing variety to choose from for a late-night bite. But the best part about the experience was breakfast served in the dining room by Julia. "We had an excellent experience at the Lamplighter. The hosts were fantastic, friendly and helpful. Attention to detail was amazing, from the special and delicious breakfast, attending to our dietary preferences, to the beautiful decor in the house and the offered amenities. It was a quiet and convenient location, very walkable to restaurants and attractions. Lovely rooms, common areas and grounds. We would love to return!"
