    The site is sheltered from the prevailing winds by the Esterel Mountains. In this part of the bay, the sea is almost always calm and offers a safe anchorage for boats as well as easy access to the hinterland. Fabulous, relaxing vacation in a beautiful locale

The apartment is lovely, bright, sunny and cheerful. It was exactly as described, and has everything one might need . It is safe and secure, and the location couldn’t be better - directly across the street from the beach, near restaurants and shops. During our three weeks, we really had a sense of living there (wouldn’t we love to). I am sure we will return.

Sweet Little Apartment!

I came to La Napoule for a workshop and this apartment was perfect for my needs with a small kitchenette and laundry. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is well equipped with everything I needed to cook small meals and to relax. The balcony is spacious for eating or just watching the marina and the passerbys, but it was too cold for me to use it in February. I will have to come back in warmer weather!

We have just returned from a wonderful 10 days in La Napoule. Because we have stayed in Riquewihr in another of Jean-Paul and Martine's apartments, we were not surprised to find an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The apartment is completely equipped with everything needed and is so beautifully decorated. A clever use of space provides room for everything. The location is excellent- right on the waterfront with amazing views of boats, sea, beach, and castle. Shops are a few minutes away, including an excellent chicken rotisserie (with the most friendly owner, Philippe), very good wine store with a knowledgeable owner, boulangerie close by, and a small but very good Thursday street market for fresh food. All necessities of life within walking distance! A large Casino just a few minutes drive for additional needs. La Napoule is a quiet refuge to return to after a busy day in Cannes, Nice, Monaco....all within easy driving distance. The coast road to St Tropez is among the most spectacular drives we have ever done. Free parking in front of the apartment was always available. We spent many hours on the terrace, just enjoying the view. The train station is a short walk away if you don't have a rental car, and the bus stop is across the road, connecting to everywhere along the coast. We also enjoyed exploring the medieval hilltop villages inland. We highly recommend this lovely place !!

PERFECTION

From the moment you walk in, you realise the detail Jean-Paul has gone to. Nothing is forgotten, down to the smallest detail, to make your stay as perfect and as comfortable as possible. The double balcony is simply a joy, to breakfast looking out on the magnificent La Napoule harbour view is breathtaking. Without doubt, the finest Riviera apartment we have ever stayed in, and we've stayed in a few.

Perfect location

We wanted to explore the Côte d’Azur and this comfy apartment was the perfect spot for it. We could be in Cannes in less than 15 mins but there was also great restaurants and places to get nice food to make at the apartment within walking distance. No complaints at all about the apartment, our only issue was we drove a large car that didn’t fit in the garage and it was sometimes too busy to find a nearby parking place. The view of the bay is also obstructed by the trees lining the street but it’s still a lovely terrace with plenty of sun! Great communication and clarity on all points with Jean-Paul. Would definitely go back to this apartment!!

Flott leilighet

Vi hadde en flott uke i Mandelieu. Stranden var rett over veien fra leiligheten. Den lille landsbyen lå også rett ved leiligheten. Selve leiligheten var veldig fint innredet og god nok plass for 2 stk. Det var alt vi trengte til matlaging på kjøkkenet. Vi spiste frokost hver dag på den nydelige terrassen. Kommunikasjonen med Jean Paul fungerte utmerket. Alt i alt en herlig ferie. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Great location, clean-- Jean-Paul has thought of everything

As the title suggest, Jean-Paul has thought of nearly everything. The location is perfect-- close enough to the activities of Cannes (within walking distance), yet far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The beach across the street is perfect for an afternoon trip, and it's only steps from the apartment. Anytime you have a question regarding the apartment's amenities or surrounding location, Jean-Paul has put together a booklet of information that has all the answers. The deck is wonderful for morning coffee or evening cocktails, and the AC keeps the place cool all day, though you won't want to be there as the surroundings are so pretty. When the booklet didn't have the answers we were looking for, Jean-Paul was always quick to answer a phone call or text. Overall it was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation.

What a Gem! Attention to Details

I won't repeat all that other reviewers have said about the location, the sea, the beach, the shops, the area etc. What sets this apartment apart is the attention to detail. Everything seems to have been though of. It is perfectly comfortable inside and on the terrace. We have rented many vacation apartment over the years and what makes this a standout are the many amenities that were missing from other places. This truly feels like a home away from home. We will definitely return and are making plans for later this season.

Very Comfortable Apartment

Having stayed at a few apartments in Mandelieu, some within the same apartment block, this is by far the best, having air conditioning and comfortable lounge and bedroom furniture. Also, a cleaner comes weekly to change the bedding, towels and re-stock toiletries and kitchen utilities. The position of the apartment within the small town of Mandelieu is ideal, putting all the local amenities within walking distance and most importantly, the beach is just across the road. The local train station provides transport to the major towns in the Cote d Azur, so any day visits to other towns, are only an hour or so away. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone wishing to stay in the south of France but doesn't want to be too close to the busier major town centres but have all the facilites and amenites that allow a very relaxing holiday. Plus there is a very nice wine cave on the ground level of the apartment block.

A piece of Paradise!

This waterfront apartment is absolutely fabulous. The inside is tastefully decorated and includes all the amenities. The huge balconies have 2 electric awnings as well as outdoor furniture to enjoy meals or the view of the water and marina. The building is very safe and the keys are available upon arrival. Inside, a notebook describes the operation of all the equipment including pictures to complement the description. In the rear of the building is a shared pool available to the residents of the complex, it is accessible only from the inside. I enjoyed walking to the bakery every morning to purchase fresh croissants and assorted goodies. Just across the street is a sandy beach, the water was pleasant in June. The marina contains several restaurants, others are also within walking distance of the apartment. We never had a problem finding parking directly in front, and enjoyed exploring the waterfront towns. Although I am bi-lingual, English is spoken just about everywhere and language is never a problem. I highly recommend this property and its ideal location on the Riviera.

Gemütliche Wohnung an der Côte Azur

In dieser wundervollen Ferienwohnung konnten wir herrliche Tage an der Côte verbringen. Sie ist mit allem Komfort ausgestattet und hat einen großzügigen Balkon. Fußläufig ist ein kleiner Supermarkt, ca. 30 Restaurants und natürlich ein sauberer, gepflegter Strand zu erreichen. La Napoule ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt um Nizza, Saint Tropez, Monaco etc. zu besuchen. Wir können das Feriendomizil auf alle Fälle weiterempfehlen und werden nächstes Jahr wieder kommen.

One of our best vacations at sea

It was really one of our best vacations at sea. We have been enjoying and are very grateful to Jean-Paul and Martien for the care and warm welcome. I agree with the reviews of other travelers and from my side can write again that the very comfortable apartment, sand beach in front of it, port, charming town, restaurants around, all of these are exellent. The only inconvenience was some trouble with internet. Since we traveled a lot by car (Provence is very interesting region) an additional advantage may be the possibility of renting parking space in the basement of the apartment.

south of France

The apartment in La Napoule is lovely with a beautiful view. The covered balcony provided outside dining space both morning and evening. The apartment is small but has all the amenities and upgrades one could ask for. The location is perfect with access to the beach, restaurants and boats just across the street. A wonderful bakery is just around the corner and a neighborhood grocery store within two blocks. For golfers there are three courses in less than 2 miles. The town is small enough that one is not overwhelmed with congested streets as in the larger cities along the coast. The property is very secure and free public parking is always available within two blocks.
