Summary: The Heim Residences are delighted to offer our Manhattan apartment, comprising of a large open plan living space, two king size bedrooms and two bathrooms.
This gorgeous apartment is hidden within the walls of a historical cotton mill, and its design style does not fall short in capturing the industrial past of the building in which it sits.
The Space: The apartment is perfectly located on the eastern edge of the city centre looking over a beautiful green space, which can be enjoyed through your many large warehouse style windows. This corner aspect property is one of very few in the development, making for an extremely unique stay, and means you’ll get to enjoy views of the city centre landscape throughout every corner of the apartment.
Vulcan Mill is a beautiful converted listed building and is the oldest working cotton mill in Europe. The unique design of the space combines original features with modern, high-end fittings and huge windows, looking across the ever developing views of New Islington and the city centre skyline.
With New Islington metro station just opposite the building, you can be in the main shopping and entertainment areas in 3 minutes, or within a 10 minute scenic walk along the canal front. Location wise you can’t get better, with access to places such as the famous Rudy’s Pizza, just across New Islington Marina.
This spacious, open plan apartment combines exposed brick walls, original features and high end design that highlight the industrial beauty of the old cotton mill.
No expense has been spared when designing this property, from the luxurious high pile carpets in the bedrooms, to the impressive wall to wall curtains framing every room. This property is certainly one worth bragging about and features nods to the industrial charm of another amazing city that we were inspired by when designing this apartment…

This stylistic decision can be seen in features as the gorgeous dark wooden flooring, our choices in furniture and the overhead conduit lighting - a unique touch that guides you around the apartment.
The property is comprised two large bedrooms, both featuring king sized beds, boasting with natural light and comforts of the highest quality bedding and soft furnishings, we know you’ll feel right at home here.
Over in the main bathroom, you’ll enjoy a gorgeous and spacious walk in shower, tiled to perfection with sleek additions of all black bathroom furniture to create a very unique and impressive space.
The huge living space features a 55 inch television (fit with all the streaming and smart services one could wish for), and faces a super comfortable chaise-longue 4 seater sofa-bed. If you’d like the sofa bed to be made up for you prior to your stay, please advise one of our very helpful customer service team and they will get that prepared for you for an additional charge. This will open up into a standard double bed, and boosts our guest capacity to six total in this apartment.
You’ll get to enjoy a spacious dining area, and a kitchen complete with all the appliances and additionals you’ll need to create amazing home cooked meals… or to just enjoy a cheeky takeaway instead! Washing machine and dryer available upon request.

Guest Access: Guests have private access to the whole apartment. The gym is located nearby and is shared with other members. Membership can purchased from £5 per day or £19.99 per month.
In the unlikely event that the lift is not working, you will need to take the stairs. The code for all doors on the ground floor is C1246.
If you are staying for a number of nights, you may need to take the waste out to the waste deposit area at the back of the building.
The Neighborhood: When you walk out the front door, your confronted with a beautiful open green space surrounding the New Islington Metrolink. Behind this is the stunning manchester skyline of contemporary apartment blocks and skyscrapers. Its like being in the city, without being in it - work that one out!

Getting Around: New Islington Metrolink is directly outside the front door providing instant access all over the city. There are beautiful walks down the canal which take you right into the epicentre in 10 minutes.
Other Things to Note: In order to protect both the property and our guests, all guests are required to complete the MANDATORY deposit hold on our guest pass, powered by Enso Connect. The deposit hold places a £250 authorisation hold on a card of your choosing. No monies are taken from your card unless any damages are caused during your stay or additional fee’s are incurred during your stay. This could be for things like late checkout and other services, extra guests and or extra nights.
Please ensure these are completed prior to your stay as guests will not be able to access the apartments until your Enso verification and deposit hold is complete.
