The condo was adorable and the perfect size for us! We had a fabulous time and enjoyed every day we stayed at the condo! Located close to town, lakes, and famous destinations. I can’t wait to go back! The condo was warm, cozy, clean, and comfy! All the amenities we need! I was also impressed with the customer service chat team! They were friendly, professional, and quick to respond! Core memories and stories from our trip will be told for decades. Thank you!!

Unfortunate Ending

Everything started great. Check-in was easy, and good location. However, two of the three restroom hinges were loose, to the point the bottom hinge came off and the restroom became unusable. We were there Mon-Fri. Every single day I reached out and no one came by to fix the door. Even sent pictures to me rove the issue, and still no one cared. I went through all the proper channels and it didn't matter. We also never had wifi, which was listed on the property as a perk. No fixture on that either. I will definitely be reaching out to my credit card company to put a hold on the charge. Maybe then, management will call me. Like I said, such a horrible ending to what was an easy fix

Needs Updating

This unit is very outdated with uncomfortable worn out beds. The heaters in the rooms and living room do not work well, we had to use space heaters, but those caused the breakers to trip and we were without heat and lights in the bedrooms until maintenance could come. Not sure why someone thought locking a breaker box in a locked closet was a good idea. Thankfully they came out quick but the customer service Gal was not helpful at all. Also, it’s absolutely ridiculous to only provide 1 bundle of wood for 3 nights. Another review below said it smelled like roach poison, that was definitely an issue. We had to air out the condo for a good 3 hours after check in because the smell was so pungent. Kitchen is bare bones and cooking utensils and pots and pans are long over due for replacement

Smelled like roach poison when we arrived. Left bathroom fans on for 24 hours and stink was gone. Only 1 roll of TP per bathroom is miserly. Everything else was typical for a rental condo.

Pleasant but wont stay again

The unit is nice but very cold. The heaters don't work well and the window in the living room was cracked and letting all the heat out. I notified the va-casa property managers when we arrived but they never did anything about it. The main bedroom with the ensuite left me feeling unsettled. That room doesn't have a place to put luggage other than the floor or the TV consol. The heater barely works and makes really loud clicking noises all night long. I had a difficult time sleeping at night. There was also this strange clicking noise behind the bed frame that kept moving from one side to the other (this was the unsettling experience). Overall I didn't like being in that room for some reason. Despite the heater struggling to work, I always woke up with a really dry mouth.

Unresolved Condo Issues

The condo was clean and well appointed, and we were eager to enjoy our stay. However, persistent issues such as the leaky broken water heater, a dishwasher that wasn't properly attached, the broken drafty window, and firewood that didn't fit in the wood stove made it challenging. The inability to take a hot showers or have hot water for four days significantly impacted our experience. Despite initially friendly interactions with the management company, we've been waiting for days for a resolution to our inconvenience (still no response). Regrettably, after years of positive experiences with VRBO rentals, we cannot recommend this condo due to these unresolved issues.

Good bang for your buck

Totally adequate accommodations and great location. Easy and quick to get to mountain and town. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and the beds are comfortable. The rugs, living room furniture and bedding is old and could use replacement. The window in front of unit broken and cracked and should be replaced

Lovely home

Nice downstairs unit. It was comfortable for.our small family. The front room window had a large crack in it. We reported it so hopefully it can be repaired before the next visitor's come. One thing i found strange is there are no closets in either bedroom. A dresser with storage would have been nice as an alternative.
