  • This is a beautifully upgraded 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, ski-in, ski-out condo at

    Sunstone Lodge with terrific views over Mammoth Lakes. This well-appointed

    vacation rental features a flat screen TV in the living room with a cozy gas

    fireplace, luxury furnishings, custom built-ins and custom paint throughout.

    The dining area comes equipped with a custom wood dining table with seating

    for 4 and a kitchen fully equipped with all the amenities. There are

    spectacular views of the Sherwin Mountains and the town of Mammoth from the

    outdoor deck too! The master bedroom features a comfortable King bed with TV

    and DVD player and stereo. There is even extra sleeping room on the sleeper

    sofa in the living room. All guests receive complimentary full access to

    Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool,

    steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more.

    This Mammoth condo sleeps a maximum of 4 people and comes with underground,

    heated garage parking for one vehicle (garage clearance is 8' 2"). Guests will

    be provided one parking pass. If more parking is required than what is

    allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. This unit

    comes with building wide wireless internet, we cannot guarantee speed or

    accessibility. There are no stairs to this unit, no stairs inside, and no

    smoking or pets are permitted. Our calendar is updated in real time. (Property

Perfect location

As always, checking in and out with Mammoth Sierra reservations is easy. I appreciated that every time I called the office, someone answered. However, we did request TP one day and never got it. I had to go into the public restroom to get it. Oddly, never saw housekeeping even though before I needed the TP, I saw them daily. But that was a minor hiccup and everything else was great.

Staying so close to the mountain is a nice luxury to experience. The only minor complaint is that there was literally nothing to cook with as far as the basic items (oil, spices) that I have almost come to expect at condo rentals in Mammoth.

Amazing Ski in Ski Out Property

Condo was in great condition, had amazing views, and was in the best location. The building is directly on the slope and there is a groomed trail that takes you in to the complex and back out to the main slope. Very spacious for 1 couple.

Perfect unit!

This unit was perfect for our family of 4, which includes my wife and our two young children. The condo had all necessary household appliances and amenities such as bathroom and kitchenware for a weekend get away. Very clean corner unit which has an amazing view of the mountains. The family has a nice pool and ample parking. Very close to Eagle lodge, would definitely stay here again during the snow season. Highly recommend!

Another Great Visit to Mammoth

We love the Sunstone property, location and amenities and Mammoth Sierra Reservations is a reliable and responsive service for booking our lodging. This unit was not as well equipped as the typical condos we've experienced in multiple other visits. We like to cook breakfasts and dinners in the condo to save money and the kitchen of #103 lacked pot and pan lids and other kitchen utensils we expected to find. Coincidentally, the fireplace didn't work when we arrived, but Mammoth Sierra took care of that in a timely manner. Thanks.

Very happy with Sunstone unit #103

Unit was clean. Provided a lock for our equipment to be kept in a locker. Easy access to ski lift. Also like the gated underground parking. We definitely hope to stay at this complex again!

Mammoth Trip 2018

It was easy to check in and the instructions were very helpful.i was not impressed with the condo at all. It was clean but in need of some repairs. The sliding door was not working properly and kept falling out of the track. It was extremely hot this weekend and there was only 1 fan and the leg was broken so it wasn’t stable. There only a few cups and one of them was cracked. The only measuring cup was also cracked and didn’t hold liquids. It just seems to me that no one has been there in a while to address any of these issues.

My husband had triple bypass surgery July 6 and we were not able to stay at your condominium. I tried to cancel, but it was within the 45 day cancellation period. All we were refunded was the $60. cleaning fee. The cleaning fee was not offered to us, I called and asked if there were any charges we were able to be refunded. If it would be helpful in obtaining any refund, I can give proof of my husband's surgery. Thank you. Penny Redinger

Overall, were you satisfied with your stay?Satisfied, at the time of our visit there were many units that were available, our location was on 1st floor and not a view, could have placed us in a better unit. 1 = very dissatisfied, 5 = very satisfiednot satisfied Were you satisfied with the property's general condition? (maintenance, quality of furniture, amenities, etc.) One of the dinning room chairs was broken with a note do not use. thought that was odd as we were charged a premium rental cost. kitchen did not have any condiments except salt and pepper, place siting was for 6 however only 5 forks, and limited containers to have an actual dinner. pretty disappointed. 1 = very dissatisfied, 5 = very satisfied Were you happy with the property's location? (convenience, safety, view, etc.)5 great location to skiing 1 = very unhappy, 5 = very happy Was the property clean?1 = very dirty, 5 = spotless 2 dirty, needs a much better cleaning if you are renting at a the cost we were charged.Was the property management company professional? (reservation process, check in/out, etc.)2, no service 1 = very unprofessional, 5 = very professional

Great location - comfortable and clean unit

Stayed here with my daughter for some boarding. Fairly typical Sunstone/Juniper Springs 1 bedroom unit. Check in was easy at Mammoth Sierra properties by Vons in town. Parking was easy underground. The spa and pool were clean. Shower head needs to be replaced but other than that no complaints...

Ok unit , great views , close to Eagle

We stayed a few days to ski last weekend but checked out on a Sunday at 10:00am and needed a place to store our luggage till our flight home that evening at 7:00om. Sunstone had no one to help us and there was no where to store our luggage. The manager at Juniper Springs (next door) said we could not store our luggage with them either even though we checked in at JS. Luckily a kind bell boy at JS was kind enough to help us out but I was shocked at the poor management and lack of bellboys to help us at Sunstone. Beware, you are all alone as far as handling your luggage at Sunstone. We had to push our own luggage cart around the block outside in the snow thinking & stressing that we'd be stuck leaving our luggage in a public lobby all day. Thank goodness for a decent bell boy who secretly told us it was ok to store luggage at JS but who knows what will happen next time. ? Also, unit 103 had a very annoying gurgling water filter in the main living room/ kitchen which they told us was "normal". Also first night we had a leak on our kitchen floor that needed servicing.

Great Get-Away for Two People

Condo was clean, nicely decorated and accommodated two adults very nicely. I would not recommend this condo for four adults even though it sleeps four with a sofa bed. Two small children would be just fine. Also, be aware that there is no A/C in this unit so it gets quite warm in the morning during a summer stay. Nights are cooler so sleeping was good.
