This 2 bedroom plus loft, 2 bathroom townhouse in Mammoth Lakes, California

has a great location and the best game room in town! Play pool, ping pong,

video games or relax in the spa and sauna. Summer time brings fun times at the

swimming pool and is on the Green Line Shuttle and a short walk to town for

those heavy winter days. Relax in the evening, cozy up around the wood burning

fireplace and enjoy the large flatscreen TV/DVD or listen to your favorite

music on the CD player. With updated flooring throughout and counter tops,

this cozy cabin has modern amenities while still offering that Mountain

getaway. Cook family meals in the fully stocked kitchen, with dining area for

6 plus additional seating at the kitchen breakfast bar. The Master Bedroom

features a King bed (with large screen TV, and updated and hall bath. The

second bedroom also features a King bed with large flatscreen TV and shared

bath. Lastly, the Loft is the perfect hangout for the kiddos offering 1

bunkbed with 2 twins + 1 Queen bed and large flatscreen TV. Unit even comes

with free High Speed Wireless Internet and HBO on the smart TVs. All guests

receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy

facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility,

yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Maximum Occupancy: 8. Guests will be

provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is

Cute Mountain Cabin Close to Everything

The logistics of the rental were very straight forward. We were able to check in after hours with no problem. The unit itself was the perfect size for us and close to everything you could need. It is a bit dated, but for the price point you cannot been it. The beds were comfy. The management company was very attentive. We had a short power outage due to winter storm and they checked in to make sure we were ok. The heat was hard to control.

Fun with friends

Fun place to stay with friends or family! Spa was big and nice, and game room fun! Only issue was parking: Some of the other people staying there would park far apart taking up 2 spots which caused others not being able to park in the front.

Comfortable and Cozy

Everything regarding the property was correct. We were very happy with the location. It was close to grocery store and close Twin Lakes and Lake Mary, even though some of the Lakes in the area were closed due to the snow. This was our first visit during the snow season.

Good complex, great location

We enjoyed our visit - enjoyed the spa and really appreciated the snow clearing of walkways and stacked wood for fires. This condo itself looks as if it hasn't been updated (or even cared for) for many years and could benefit from some very simple TLC.

Pros:1. Big space, three bedrooms, two levels, enough room to hold 2-3 families2. Fire place with plenty firewood3. Full size kitchen4. Extra blankets, pillows.Cons:1. Poor service. We contacted the property manager(?) asking for what kitchen cookware are provided, or if there are enough blankets for a group of 8. The manager's reply indicated what he did not know the detail. We found out there is no need to bring extra after our arrival. 2. Heater/Gas very noisy and have to turn off in order to sleep.3. Dirty Kitchen--- pizza left in the oven. Dirty carpets.4. The most disappointing thing out of our stay is :On the day of check out, we were supposed to leave by 10 am and drop off keys. We all prepared but one of our friend could not wake up and we had to call 911.This delayed our process of loading stuff to our vehicle. We all packed, and cleaned the kitchen, etc.When we called the 800 number to ask them if we can get one or two extra hours before leaving the property.We were refused rudely and told us unless we pay Extra Money.Our friend is still in the hospital and we did not know if the poor heat/gas had something to do with his sudden illness. As he could not sleep with the noisy heat on.Anyway, the service is quite lacking and there is not humanity in responding our request when our friend had such a life-treating event.

WORSE THAN EXPECTED

We've been visiting Mammoth for years in the fall, keep coming back, great hiking, we love it.we wee always lucky to rent a comfortable, clean place to stay. This time, what a dissapointment, the place was dirty, carpet is due for replacement, pots and pans unwashed stuffed in the cabinet, dust on furniture, The agency should check these places they are renting, from time to time.

Great Condo

Mammoth Sierra Reservations made the whole check in and check out experience fast and easy. The condo was extremely clean. We have been coming here for a long time and always make great new memories. I believe St. Moritz condos are the best in Mammoth. Excited to come back.

It was just ok.

Only one major issue i saw, in loft(the bed room on the 1st floor) was not closed.Even the door was open, i mean you can not close the door from inside.Plus one side of the room was covered by screens instead of any cardboard/wood/bricks.We are three families for that vacation.One family was uncomfortable in the room where the door was open.

Mammoth time to enjoy the Lord's beauty

Overall a great time. The only disappointment when we arrived and entered condo all the chairs ,coffe table kitchen benches and in all bedrooms chairs on beds,we had to take them down some were heavy . I would also recommend in the den the throw rug is old and had areas that are folded and can not be evened out and one can easily trip and fall Other than that had a good stay

Spacious yet Cozy Condo

Our group of 8 could easily have fit 3 more guests since the pullout couch slept 2 and there was an extra mattress in one of the bedroom closets. Everything worked great especially the fireplace. The design of the unit has a nice open space where 3 families can be together cooking, eating, reading or watching TV all at the same time.

Horrible experience at Mammoth

My family and I have visited Mammoth Lakes every winter for the past 10-years. This was the experience that will change our future winter destination. We will no longer visit Mammoth lakes, especially to this resort. Spending our christmas week in this property was a disaster. The property was so old and dirty some of my family members got allergies. Both top and the bottom of the entrance door had a gap that allowed the weather inside, our 2-year old had 101 temperature the very next day because he was playing on the living room carpet and caught cold from the wind blowing thru the door. We contacted the main office to report about the door, they sent in the assistant manager and a handyman who wanted to fix the door, while family members were at the house including the kids. I didn't let them fix it, because it would have been unbearable to leave the door open during that period of time. In that cold weather the kitchen was full of ants which wasted all our food left on the counter, the blankets were so old we were disgusted to use them, thank God we had the second family coming later and brough extra bedding with them for all of us. The property is not child friendly, the loft on the second floor doesn't have any safety wall or bar and is only covered with curtains, we had 7 and 2 year olds, and were constantly nervous and made sure they don't go to the second floor. Due to the conditions listed above we were forced to leave early. Due to the inconsistency as well as your misrepresentation of the premise, I am demanding full refund. If I do not hear from you with 30-days, i will have no choice but to obtain legal representation and file a complaint against your for unlawful misrepresentation.

Ski vacation 5 nights

The unit overall was dated, but clean, and everything seamed to work OK. My biggest complaint was the kitchen. The pots, pans, lids, and cooking utensils along with dishes, glasses and sileverware were a frustrating mess when it came time to prepare meals. I would have to sort through a stack of old pans and pots and play mix-n-match until I could locate something to work with (this was a noisy process which also served as a wake up call to all the guests while making breakfast).If you plan to do much cooking or meal preparation for your trip, I would not stay here. There also was a very short supply of paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, and dishtowels. There was enough dishwashing detergent and toilet paper however. There was a coffee maker with no coffee filters. I don't know if it is the rental agency or owner who is responsible for these items, but it should be addressed, or at least alert the renter what to bring.The fireplace was nice, however there were only 2 fire starters provided, making starting fires a challenge after the 2 were used. The door to the fireplace had a worn-out gasket which seals the door and prevents fire danger due to flying sparks, I hope this will be repaired or replaced. Basically you had to hold the seal in place while closing the door.The recreation room games are coin operated, as are the washer/dryers, so be sure to bring your quarters.The hot-tub was great.The location is right on the bus route so you don't have to drive anywhere for most of Mammoth locations.

Superbowl weekend in Mammoth

The good...the guy who shoveled snow did a great job in the face of overwhelming snowfall. The rest...a very poor unit. Dirty, old, cold and astonishingly uncomfortable. I have never paid so much for so little. Will never rent such a unit again, at least not knowingly. Cheaply outfitted and rundown.

a nice place to stay for a big family

We had 7 ppl in total for 2 nights. Overall the place is not that hard to find, but we arrived a bit late and outside main road can be dark without much street light.Overall a nicely kept place, the internet is fast, the kitchen stove is quite aged but usable. We cooked a few meals after many meals outside in previous days, which was relaxing. 24 hours supermarket is just around the corner which everything we need.

Disappointed Property Not Being Maintained or Stocked

We rented this condo in hopes that the property management company had address all of the issues expressed in previous reviews...unfortunately they have not. The condo it's self was in pretty good shape and the location is good however it is not being properly maintained or stocked: smoke detector batteries were beeping, the condo was extremely cold and had lots of firewood but no fire starters, gross globs of hair in bathtub, several dirty dishes in the cabinets, no kleenex and debris on carpet under tables. The staff at check in was nice and as accommodating as they could be. Important to note that they have a firm check in at 4:00 with the ability to grant very few exceptions.
