This newly built development is the perfect way to experience what Mammoth has to offer!



The Space:

Red Slate Creekside is a 2-story townhome with cozy modern touches and spacious high ceilings, great for groups. You'll be just 1 mile from the Village where you can find shops and restaurants. The Canyon Lodge is half a mile away, perfect for skiing and snowboarding in the winter. On the warmer days, check out mountain biking or fishing up here!



The main room is on the 2nd floor and consists of a spacious living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room is furnished with a comfortable leather sectional around a gas fireplace and a mounted flat screen TV. Gather here after a long day exploring Mammoth with some hot cocoa and get cozy with the fireplace on!



Cook with the comfort of a fully equipped kitchen: stainless steel appliances new in 2025, blender, drip coffee maker, pots/pans, toaster, and more! Exchange stories around the dinner table for 8. Additional seating by the kitchen island can be found for 3.



The first 2 bedrooms are on the main floor. The master bedroom has a Queen bed, flat screen TV, balcony, and an en suite bathroom. The large en suite bathroom has a soaking tub, standing shower, and dual sinks. The 2nd bedroom holds a Queen bed, and a Twin over Full twin bunk bed. There is a shared full bathroom on this floor.



The remaining 2 bedrooms are on the ground floor by the entryway. The 3rd bedroom has a Queen bed and the 4th bedroom has a Twin over Full bunk bed. Both bedrooms have access to the patio.



There are 2 parking spots and a BBQ in the garage. Water heater replaced and updated in 2025.

The unit was as described. However, the unit was not clean when we arrived. The downstairs bathtub drain had hair from previous guests. Kitchen utensils and refrigerator were dirty. We did contact them about it and they did offer to come clean it. We had 10 people in the house and it’s inconvenient for them to come clean it after we’ve arrived.

Upon arrival, we had 3 major issues, concerning the unit and our safety. Broken sink faucet, leaking dishwasher, and a broken cabinet that fell on my foot. These needed attention immediately. It was extremely difficult to find a live person to speak with. But eventually we got a live person, and they sent someone over right away (the next day) to fix them. After that, the amenities and location were ideal. We had a lovely stay, and enjoyed the place very much. We want to return next year. I would say that VRBO needs to do a better job about getting to speak to a LIVE person, right away. Speaking to an AI bot is frustrating to say the least.

This property is a great location for our work group. And the room/bed arrangement works well. This particular trip we have some recommendations for maintainence. Most important is the stove oven did not work. Maintainence thought they fixed, but did not return when notified the flame would still not stay lit. We did not have a working oven for entire stay. And the BBQ was out of propane, which was quickly corrected when notified. The kitchen sink faucet needs maintainence to swivel and spray properly. Otherwise the kitchen is pretty well outfitted for a group that cooks. The stock of blankets and pillows is appreciated. Overall the unit is comfortable, clean, well lit. Garage and parking is suitable for a working group, safe for vehicles and tools. Recognize this is a well booked unit and repairs are probably harder to schedule. We appreciate the effort and unit.

Beautiful, spacious and modern condo

Everyone in our group really enjoyed this beautiful condo. We spent a lot of time in the spacious kitchen and living room area and appreciated the large couch and dining table with plenty of seating. The furnishings were modern and everything was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with nice pots, pans, and everything we needed. They also labeled all of the kitchen cabinet shelves which helped easily locate things.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Mammoth last weekend. The house was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for our group. Everything was just as described (or even better), and the location was great for exploring the area. 10 out of 10—would definitely come again!

Don't Pick this place

This place has some serious issues. 1. The refrigerator had water leaks and wasn't fully functional. Property management should have known about this since the flooring had water damage near that area. 2. Issues with the hot water, didn't get any hot water (ONLY COLD WATER) for 50% of our stay, which was a major issue. 3. Communication with property management -- Issues haven't been noted nor followed up, during the stay. Also, none of the major issues were resolved during our stay except saying, can't do much because of the long weekend. Also, the minimal compensation they offered for the inconvenience was not serious and required numerous follow-ups.

Awesome Property

The property was perfect for our group of 9, plenty of sleeping arrangements and space to relax. Close to town, close to the lakes, and we even saw deer in the front yard the first morning. Will be back!

Grand Welcome Management Company Could Care Less

Stayed in many VRBO's over the years. Not new to this! This company did not care about our difficulties starting with code to enter house. It didn't work. Son spent 30 minutes trying to work with management company to gain access while attending to two screaming babies tired of riding in car. Finally got a new code. Various problems encountered: Greeted with overwhelming smell of Febreeze - had to open every window in house and run fans before we could let babies in. Master bed sheets made sideways (?) so top sheet didn't reach end of bed. That's a new one! No blankets on downstairs bunk bed. Major cobwebs on ceiling in main living room. Really gross. One ply toilet paper (seriously) throughout the entire house. You could see your hand through it! Dirty dishes and sticky counter tops in kitchen. Trash cans in garage had a inch or so of standing bleach in them so it was toxic to enter garage. Called management company the morning after we arrived and they asked for pictures. We said we were leaving on a hike and invited them to come visit the residence to see for themselves. We were told a manager would contact us. Didn't happen. We called again - and again, they asked for photo's. BTW...their office is about 6 mins. from this residence. We continued on with our trip and they never visited. I wrote the company after returning home. They said because we did not supply pictures of our allegations there was nothing they could do. This was NOT an inexpensive rental so we would recommend you keep looking before choosing this property. Not worth the hassle when family time is so rare and invaluable!

Beautiful property in a very good location

We were very happy with the property. It is nicer and roomier than the pictures show. It was clean and all in good condition. The location is also great as it is very close to Canyon Lodge. We look forward to visiting this property again.
