This light and bright 1 bedroom plus loft, one bathroom condo is perfect for a family Mountain getaway. Located in the quiet Snowcreek complex, you are just a short walk away from the Mammoth Creek park with kids playground, grassy area with picnic tables, and of course Mammoth Creek ideal spot for kids to fish, run free, and enjoy the great outdoors. The upstairs deck enjoys beautiful Mountain Range and Forest views and, being a corner end unit, gets great natural light and privacy. The living room offers a flatscreen TV and a wood-burning fireplace to gather around with plenty of seating for the whole family. The fully stocked kitchen with stainless steels appliances and dining area for 6 offer a great space for preparing meals and family gatherings. The master bedroom on the lower level features a Queen bed, and the loft upstairs also offers a Queen bed plus Futon. There is one bathroom with shower/tub combo and a separate vanity sink area for all to share. This unit offers a private BBQ gas grill on the deck, perfect for summer time cooking with the family. A bonus additional open loft space from the enclosed loft provides even more space to spread out! The home offers a washing machine only, and drying rack (no clothes dryer). The Snowcreek community offers an enclosed year-round hot tub spa, just steps from the entrance to the condo. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps up to 4 people, comes with 2 outdoor parking spaces, no smoking permitted and one dog is permitted (additional pets on approval only). This condo is an upstairs unit with approximately 15 steps to the front door access, two levels inside. Guests will be provided two outdoor parking passes. We had a nice stay overall and enjoyed the location a lot. The home is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood along the creek, which makes for lovely evening and morning walks. Its also conveniently located close to Mammoth Mountain, which was perfect for our ski trip.The house itself was comfortable and generally well stocked. The fireplace had firewood available, which we appreciated, although it would have been helpful to know in advance that fire starters are not provided so guests can plan ahead.A few things to note for future guests and the host. The front door was quite difficult to lock and needed to be shut very precisely or it would swing open in windy conditions, even during the night. The breaker also tripped easily when using the microwave and opening the door mid cycle. There was a sign explaining this, but it may be something worth addressing.We also had some trouble with the jacuzzi. The code provided in the paperwork was incorrect. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and think this is a nice spot, especially for the location and peaceful setting. With a few small fixes and clearer communication, it could be an excellent experience.

Mammoth 4th of July

Overall, we had a great time and loved our stay. The location was excellent and included a nice little walking trail at the property. The sofa and bed were very comfortable. I really appreciated how communicative the management was when we ran into some minor problems with the unit. The only thing I didn’t like was the check in process- we had to stop at a separate location to pick up the keys and parking pass. Also, just fyi, the only door in and out of the unit includes a double cylinder deadbolt, so you need a key to get out id the deadbolt is locked. Also FYI, it was listed as having a gas grill, but the grill is actually an electric outdoor George Forman grill with the Weber cover.

Great location for skiing

Clean place that is close to groceries, restaurants, and the ski resort. Only complaint is that checkout is so early at 10 AM. It's only 9:30 and people are already waiting outside in their cars to do the cleaning. Talk about pressure to get out.

More TLC

A decent place/the loft was nice. Great location to hot tub/steam room. However kitchen was outdated and it needs some attention to overall cleanliness, including older/dirty carpets and master room blankets for bedding looked overly used. While the kitchen had a lot of cutlery, cooking appliances and pots/pans, it felt thrown together. It was quite dark in the unit so lights needed to be on at all times of day. Other places we’ve stayed have very clear instructions on how to operate things (such as the fireplace), so it took us quite a bit to decipher the damper despite having used wood fireplaces often. It didn’t have that ‘comfortable home feel’ - overall, the unit needed a little more TLC.

Mountain Escape

Had a great stay, clean and cozy condo with a mountains cabin feel. Stacked with firewood for nonstop fires in the fireplace and located right next to the hot tub/sauna building. We had our infant and family dog and the space worked out perfectly for us. Really enjoyed our thanksgiving snowy escape here. Thank you!

Confusion

When I booked our unit it was pet friendly. When I received the contract it stated it was not. We were confused, and could not get clarification until the morning of our stay. Luckily, the reservation office was able to help us and our stay, with our dog, was perfect.

Cozy Condo Nice Complex 3 Star

Cozy and nicely furnished unit. Grounds were beautiful. Fireplace was great for warming the condo. We enjoyed our time in Mammoth. I do have a few issues that keeps me from giving the place a four star rating. First thing that was an issue was that we brought our older cockapoo. I didn’t read when booking to the very bottom of the description and see the unit was on the second and third floor with 14 stairs up. But that was my fault. It should be moved up a little higher in the description as an elderly person might have an issue with the stairs. Our older dog had a bit of trouble going up and down the stairs. Second issue was that the carpet is dirty with animal urine spots all over. I took photos upon arrival as not to get charged that these were done by my dog. I appreciate that having a unit that allows for dogs this will happen. Personally I would have the carpets cleaned and cover with washable throw rugs (wayfair). Other than the carpet situation the unit was clean except for a few dirty pans and the trash was still in the kitchen. I like to leave places very clean. I would have cleaned the glass surfaces but there was no windex to be found in the unit. Lastly for a four day stay, 2 rolls of TP and 2 clothes washing pods is skimpy. This is reflected in my 3 star rating. I own short stay units also. If you want four star ratings there is a certain level of items that really need attention.

great condo

Snowcreek is a great, large, quiet property in Mammoth. This unit was outfitted well with everything you might need....BBQ coffee maker, electric kettle, great WIFI, etc. Hot tub is just outside the front door and down the stairs. It was great for our family of 4, but I wouldn't recommend any more than that as the unit is fairly dense with furniture. Check in is off site, we arrived late and they had clear instructions on how to obtain the key. Overall great unit thanks.
