"Really lovely owners, friendly and helpful. The facility is beautifully set out everything you could need, comfortable beds, great shower like getting a massage. Really handy and close to town, beach etc. Would seriously recommend can comfortably accommodate 6 with lovely outside area. Many thanks to our lovely hosts."

"The Big Deck is exactly the place for some RNR perfect spot amazing views bach has all you need dated but perfect for that kiwi bach experience by the beach ⛱️ was clean and tidy plenty of space so just perfect for us host was lovely great to communicate with everything went smooth even with a last min request to take the fur babies 😊 thanks so much Hine nd John we had such a nice break away the bach was awesome we did not want to leave just pecfect 👍😊👌"

"The four of us loved our weekend stay at Sunnynook Cottage. Bedding configuration suited us, and it was such a treat to have all the linen not only supplied, but beds made up and bathroom stocked with quality towels. "Our third time to visit, hopefully WIFI will be added to the property. The neighbours dog was bold, making its way throught the back door to pull out the garbage. He wasn't deterred when shooed away, the owner heard me and took control of the dog"

"This was a great place to chill out, with a wonderful outlook over Aotea Harbour and very quiet at this time of year (end April). Neat and clean with very a well equipped kitchen. It was comfortable for our stay but expect it could get very hot in summer, and be cold in winter (only one small panel heater for a large space)."

"We enjoyed our stay at this quiet contemporary location. Close driving proximity to township and beach. We enjoyed the walks and the wood burner kept the whole place warm and cosy in the evening. We enjoyed the board games and the ability for outdoor fresco meals."

"My wife and I stayed at Whale Bay Surf Bach for 4 nights in April and agreed it was one of the best stays we have ever had. The location and views are incredible. Nothing beats checking the surf from your bed, taking a private entrance to one of the best breaks in the country, and then relaxing in the jacuzzi with ocean views. The property itself was very clean and had all the right amenities. Hope to return again soon!"
