"venue is located on a cross roads of the A49 between Ludlow and Leominster which is a fairly busy junction at many times of day & night. Also located next to a 24hour Asda service station and travel lodge which created vehicle move movements at all times of day & night. We ate in the Salway hotel each night in addition to Breakfast and found the food & service helpful and attentive and the room adequate for our needs. We had been to the hotel previously and found it suitable to our needs."

"Estuvimos en 2 habitaciones, ambas tenían el baño nuevo lo que se agradece un montón. Las camas individuales no estaban mal, pero el colchón de la cama de matrimonio era tan viejo y blando que nos levantamos con las espaldas echas polvo. Los domingos noche no sirven cena. No hay ascensor, hay que subir las maletas a peso y queda apartado del pueblo de Ludlow con lo que únicamente se puede acceder con el coche. No estuvimos mal, pero para otra ocasión intentaríamos buscar otro hotel."

"Comfortable stay in a very good-sized room. We stayed in the Cockerel room (they are all individual and animal-themed), which also has a sofa bed and views out to the hills. Outside the rooms, there's an upstairs lounge and balcony, with books to peruse, in a nice touch. Very much enjoyed the plentiful breakfast, cooked to order with a wide variety of items from full fry-up to smoked salmon and kippers. Liked the beer range, which included Purple Moose.
