"Nice resort with clean facilities in good condition. The restaurant offers good food. The resort and other resorts in the area are difficult to get to and can be expensive if not planned."

"Very upmarket place for the area. Food was fabulous and available to be cooked any hour of the day. Nice wine selection! Clearly a European touch of quality here. "This was my third visit 3 years running staying and diving at Blue Ribbon. They have everything right for a relaxed, but safe, diving vacation. The rooms are fine and everything is convenient. You walk a few meters from your room to eat and not many more to dive. The resort has a friendly family feel to it and the staff were all fabulous. "Excellent boutique hotel every room has ocean view. Low key location and area. Nice restaurant and bar and pool all overlooking the ocean. Truly amazing facility! Small hotel left my valuables in my room never locked the door. Snorkeling in front of hotel at reef, has dive shop with dive sites 5-10 minute boat ride. I travel the world extensively this location is special as is the service and attention! You will not be disappointed. "

"I've booked a room for for my wife. It's a new hotel that just opened December 2024. - While not at a central location, the location is accessible if you have a car, you can get to at least where she needed to be. - Hotel has dining and breakfast was included with the booking. - Hotel staff are great. Approachable. We'll come back next year. Thank you."

"Friendly lobby staff. The dive center was helpful. Tried to eat at restaurant, ended up going to nearby places as didn’t like the restaurant service. The lace was busy. One server told us we can use one of the tables once the cleaned it as prior diners just left. But then another server came in and put a reserved sign on the table. There was no coordination among servers and I hear some other people comping on the wait to get food so we didn’t want to wait for a table and went somewhere else....

"Room was clean but very basic, no fridge, no kettle….. these 2 items are very essential for people who loves cold or hot drink without the need of getting out of the room. No hot water twice…. First episode was reported and fixed but did not last longer and no hot water again!!! The bed is very comfortable, but the top sheet or kumot is so thin, not a good one for someone who love to sleep in a cold room. 5 star for the hotel staffs"

"Glad I booked here -- it's definitely one of the better hotels in White Beach. Friendly service, good A/C, warm showers, security, location. Brought my own pocket wifi. Wish I had booked dive in advance - they didn't have availability for beginner by the time I showed up. Notes on White Beach area: - good LTE service - known for night life, water activities, etc. If you want more quiet, western resort style, sabang is better area. - 20 minute ride to town, i.e. the closest ATM."

"A very good located hotel right in the middle of everything white beach has to offer.. And right on the beach.. Only a few bad things to note;..'the electrics were hanging out of walls.. The room only had 1 bulb and 4 fittings.. The shower only dribbled, the sink did,nt work.. The tv did,nt work, the air con had a 1inch gap all around it so we could see outside, the toilet was not attatched, there was a funny smell which was the stained mattress, and the room was only cleaned after a week n...

"Great time, extremely friendly hospitable staff! The place itself is maybe for younger guests, loving partying and various musical pleasures. Just seconds from the beach itself, and a whole bouquet of different restaurants with excellent food. Luxurious access to guided snorkeling tours, etc. Bring mosquito repellants with you - these insects could bite around sunset and an hour or so after, if you would want to be on the porch. Fantastic place, great owners!"

"Good location, just a few steps from the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cafe Marco was a step above most of the food establishments, as was the Dawei Tea House, both linked to the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Only negative was that the advertised free parking was not free if you book through an on-line service, like Orbitz. We had a power failure the first night and it knocked out WiFi for the remainder of our stay. Same for Cafe Marco and Dawei Tea House. But that was beyond...
