Had a wonderful time at this property. It was easy to get to and lovely to pull up to with a beautiful classic garden. The place was clean and welcoming, a lovely place to relax. We really enjoyed both the front and back porches, the fire pit and the hot tub. Our son enjoyed playing out in the garden and saw an elk out on the road. However, it is still well in civilization so we did hear some music on Friday night, but it was still lovely to stay there.

Twin Creeks Refuge is the perfect getaway if you're looking for cozy, calm and serene. Everything was thoughtfully executed to accommodate our stay. Stone's throw to town. I highly recommend to ALL...this is the "Perfect Stay"!

We LOVED our stay! The house was adorable, comfortable, clean, and so well-stocked I think it had more appliances, cookware, and utensils than my own kitchen at home. It was so enjoyable to sit in the rockers on the back porch and listen to the gurgle of the creek and watch the bees buzzing in the rhododenrun. There is plenty to do in the area (check out Winchester Creek Farm if you like animals!) but we were content to mostly just enjoy that porch. I stay in a lot of VRBO's, and this home had one of the easiest check in/check out processes of any of them--just a keypad to get in and all you have to do at check out is load and start the dishwasher, toss your used towels into the shower, and take out the trash. I definitely recommend this home!

We absolutely loved this cabin, everything was perfect! It was extremely clean, the hot tub was great! Even my dogs loved it, especially sniffing all around the property. We loved hearing the brook on the back deck. The cabin was thoroughly stocked and decorated so nicely. We would definitely come back, thank you again!!

Twin Creek Refuge is AMAZING! The beds and recliner couch were very comfortable. Sitting on the screened in porch and listening to the creek go by was very relaxing. Thank you Gary for letting us arrive an hour early and for being so kind.

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at Twin Creeks Refuge. It was in a great location, very close to the main road , restaurants, and shops, but it still felt private and secluded. Easy drive, no steep road or driveway. The screened in back porch overlooking the creek was our favorite and our pups loved it too!! Everything was clean and plenty of room. We would definitely stay again.

Great Getaway

This cabin is perfect. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that the owner paid a lot of attention to detail. Everything is clean and you will find everything needed for a great vacation. It is centrally located yet has privacy.

Gary is a very nice host, the house is beautiful with the enjoyment of two porches. The back porch is screened in looking over the creek. Very clean house, comfortable furniture, and had everything we needed! Perfect location with no steep hills. We visited Cataloochee Ski resort, Cherokee, Waynesville ( has a dog bar and dog bakery), Canton ( has a a dog park and river walk), and we loved walking our Goldendoodle around the trail on Lake Junaluska. After a long day on the slopes the jacuzzi was warm and relaxing as well. We loved everything about our stay and we will be back!
