"This house was absolutely perfect. It's SO close to Maggie Valley's happy places, but JUST far enough up the road to feel like you are completely in the mountains. There was the perfect amount of creek running throughout the property to listen to on the back porch and the home is really well stocked for all the cookware, pans, plates, cups etc. you need when preparing meals. "We love staying here!! We came up this trip to celebrate my husband’s 65th birthday & it will be one to remember - Hurricane Helene!! The valley protected us & we never lost power or use of water. "Great location, easy to access property. Great stock of items in kitchen, beds were comfy and the property is on the little creek. it did look like the property sustained some damage from Helene, but did not affect our stay. We were unable to access the stairs down to the creek, but a quick walk around the back of the property does allow access to the lower area where the creek is. "The staff was the best: so nice and helpful. Best relation between quality and price. The rooms are big, clean, with fridge, caffee and microwave. Placed near restaurants and place for live concerts (Valley Tavern). It has a complementary breakfast which is also nice (yogurt, caffee, tea, sweet things, juice). I'll definitely repeat if I'll come back to the south part of the Smoky Mountains and Appalachian reserve."
