The property was as expected. Vanrays Management was openly hostile. They had a chip on their shoulder and a combative attitude about every one of our requests. Upon arrival, we had no towel larger than a hand towel and it took two days of arguing for them to send bath towels AND they still insisted we had bath towels and they had sent a second pair of bath towels. Our visit was 12 nights without them asking us if we needed fresh linens or towels. I've done business with HomeAway/VRBO for thirty years ALL OVER EUROPE and have complained on only two other occasions. This management company is in a very select group of the worst. Their fallback statement was to look in our storage areas for what we needed. The apartment had no "House Rules" or directions on how to use any of the appliances. This is a major shortfall as it forced us to call Vanrays for help and they made it clear that they didn't want to help and that we were on our own. When we asked for help with an appliance, we were told that we were given directions at check-in, which we were not, and that was sufficient. We would tell them we had not been instructed in the use of an appliance and they would say, yes you have. How does one consider that a productive dialog?
