Modern and huge flat in Sol

Huge and cozy flat in Sol:
The apartment is in a nice building on a side street to Puerta del Sol. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, is perfect for families with children, a group of friends or couples who want to share the same space but with privacy.

The apartment is located steps away from Puerta del Sol, Plaza Callao y Gran Vía. Is in the middle of one of the most important and famed shopping street in Madrid 'Preciados', and it has just been extensively renovated (everything is brand new:). With three separate bedrooms (plus sofa beds) and three bathrooms, it's perfect for families, a group of friends, or 3 couples.

The apartment is on the second floor of a building, and like most buildings in the centre of Madrid, IT DOES NOT HAVE ELEVATOR.

Guest access

The apartment consists of:

* Two rooms with double bed of them with bathroom with shower inside.

* Another room with two beds (90 cm x 200 cm) and bathroom with shower. * A third bathroom with bathtub, perfect for families with children.

* Dining room with two comfortable sofas and several armchairs, dining area for 10 people, TV and open kitchen (fully equipped with everything you need).

* Washing machine.

* Crib, highchair and toys for children upon request.

* And of course wifi access

*Cot available upon request 15 euros extra



* We also provide sheets and towels, and other things like iron, hairdryer, bathroom products, maps and basic ingredients for the kitchen. One set of hand towel and shower towel per person per stay up to 7 nights will be provided. If more are required, there will be a charge of 10 euros per set.

No smoking in the apartment. In case of smoking, we will charge €100 as penalty.

The location is ideal to explore all corners of the city. The So neighborhood is bustling night and day and the beds are fair as far as comfort-notIdeal for light sleepers . The place itself is ok but would definitely benefit from a refresh of the decor and kitchen items. The check in process is problematic but Vanessa was responsive and super helpful. 3.5/5 stars

The place was in a great location. We had an issue with insects but the host was very responsive and immediately took care of the problem. Small repair needed in the bathroom ceiling, otherwise place is great and just as it is described.

Superb location! Great communication with hosts! Personalized welcome and great materials to plan your time in Madrid. Still, while no major issues, after thoughtful deliberation and comparing the place with four other rentals in Spain, we have to give apartment just an average score, for the following reasons: 1) Pictures shown are likely from when the apartment was in great condition; currently, it is in need of refurbishment and reconditioning. The sofa bed in the living room (we did not use) sags after anyone sits on it. The bathroom in one bedroom had a portion of the ceiling held in place by duct tape (which twice I had to push back up during our stay). 2) There is an air conditioner in one bedroom and one other in the kitchen is for the rest of the entire apartment; even with bedroom doors open, it struggles to cool down in the hot summer, and it is not as powerful as the unit in the one bedroom. 3) We did have minor issues with insects, twice live in the aforementioned bathroom which we took care of, and a couple of others we discovered dead after one night in a common area. While perhaps expected in an older building, it was likely made worse due to the overall condition of the apartment.4) Value relative to other accommodations. Priced for the location, but compared to renting three hotel rooms, we gave up nicer air conditioned bedrooms and bathrooms, but gained a nice kitchen and living room area. Overall, nice but not a great value. Cheers!

Appartement très bien situé au cœur de Madrid. Parfait pour 6 personnes. Lave linge, lave vaisselle et accès Netflix sont des vrais plus. Les gérants sont très réactifs. À recommander !

Elegant, roomy apartment

The apartment is elegantly appointed with comfortable beds a ready to cook kitchen, beautiful dining area, and exquisite living room. We were very comfortable here. It was centrally located in within walking distance to the Royal Palace, the cathedral, the plaza mayor Rotiro Park, Grand Via, botanical gardens, plaza Sol, and. Atoxha train station. Inquire About Noise Before Booking

The apartment is lovely and had plenty of space. We would have been completely thrilled if not for constant noise. At night, noise from the street was so loud it sounded as if people were in the room with us yelling.Very thin walls with no insulation against the noise. No sleep at night and this goes on until 4 or 5 am. Then, when you think there might finally be some peace, construction begins at 7am both inside the building on the floor above us and out in the street. Pounding, sawing, dust, loud music, etc all day every day. I reached out to the property manager to ask about parking and received no response. I reached out again about late check out and again, no response. I can't imagine if there was a real emergency that someone would have been available to help us? So don't stay here unless you do not need sleep.

Lovely stay at perfect location. Close to the metro at Puerta del Sol snd plenty of places to eat and shop. Very nice to have 3 bathrooms as well. There is a washermachine but no dryer in case you need one but

Excellent location

The location is just steps away from Sol. We were able to walk almost everywhere. The apartment is just as advertised. The beds are fairly comfortable. The only downsides are that the shower water pressure isn’t good, and there are no AC units in 2 of the bedrooms. There are fans, but these rooms were warmer than the room facing the street. We didn’t cook, but the kitchen was equipped. The shower had shampoo and body wash so no need to bring your own. Would definitely stay here again as it’s such a great location.

Great Stay, Fabulous Host!

This was a wonderful flat! The hosts were communicative, they took extra care to show us the flat and the neighborhood, and recommended spots to eat and visit! We opted to pay extra to have them store our luggage prior to check in (cleaning from previous tenants) and let us keep it there while they prepped for new tenants. It was much more secure than the luggage lockers. The flat was clean, well stocked, vibrant and perfectly situated! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We were in mail correspondence with the flat owners/office about some problems in the fappartment: No hot water for more than one person at a time! The boiler has 180L, when the hot water are finished (Should be enough 4 persons instead of 7 according to the flat explanation) We have to wait for an hour for hot water. In addition, the hot water stream was very weak - this is not a flat that suits 7 persons! We left after 2 nights instead of four and we were very disappointed by their responses. We haven't heard from them about a refund we requested.

Wonderful place

We had a great vacation! This apartment offered what we needed to make our stay in Madrid enjoyable. Everything was walkable and really in the heart of Sol. The apartment had everything we needed, a great kitchen dining area, and living area as well. I would love to stay in this place again the next time I visit Madrid!!!

Appartement très agréable bien placé. Quelques points negatifs : pas de pression avec l'eau chaude pour la douche, manque un peu de vaisselle comme petites tasses pour expresso, grille pain.....Chambre du fond etroite pour 2 personnes. Chauffage difficile a régler. Dommage aussi qu'il n'y ait pas non plus un endroit pour déposer les bagages le jour du départ car payer plus de 60 euros pour 4 valises ,pendant 4h c'est vraiment excessif.

Location, location, location

This apartment is exceptionally spacious and is good for those who need 3 bedrooms and baths. Best of all is the location in Sol neighborhood only a few steps from Metro stops in pedestrian district.
