THE APARTMENT
Charming Reina Sofía is located in the heart of Madrid, at Calle Doctor Fourquet, the area with the most contemporary art galleries in the capital of Spain. Reina Sofía Museum, is located less than 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment.
This fantastic apartment is newly renovated, but maintaining the charm of the building where is located. We have respected elements such as wooden beams.
The apartment is fully equipped to make your stay in Madrid unforgettable:
· Bedroom with double bed, spacious closets, flat screen tv and private bathroom with shower that is you can access the same bedroom.
· Living room with sofa and smart tv.
· Fully equipped kitchen: Fridge and freezer, dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, plates and cutlery, pots and pans, and kitchen utensils.
· Reading and work area: It is at the top, where we find a comfortable sofa and a desk where you can work quietly. For access to this upper area there is a ladder not suitable for children or people with reduced mobility.
Among the amenities of the apartment we also find: Lift, air conditioning and heating, bed linen and towels, free toiletries and cleaning products.
The Charming Reina Sofía is located on the 5th floor of an old building with a typical Madrid street where a new elevator with glass walls has been installed. In the past, it was very typical that theater plays were performed in the patio (in Spanish corralas) of residential buildings, a tradition that unfortunately has been disappearing. Thanks to the school of actors Cristina Rota, which is located in the basement of the building, there are many representations that are offered both to neighbors and the public that comes from outside, with a bit of luck you, can maybe enjoy one of them during your stay.

LOCATION
The apartment is located very close to Reina Sofia Museum, in one of the best areas of Madrid and walking distance from the main tourist attractions. The Prado Museum is also a few minutes walk from the apartment.
The area where it is located is full of cafes and supermarkets (some of them open 24 hours) so you will have everything to enjoy your stay.
GETTING ARROUND:
The nearest metro station is Lavapiés (Line 3), from which you can move throughout the city. The underground stations of Embajadores, Antón Martín, Atocha and Atocha train station are also very close.
The Atocha Renfe station is the main train station in Madrid, where long-distance trains, the Ave train, and commuter trains arrive. From there you can travel to any point in Spain, in fact if you arrive to Madrid by train, you can go to the apartment perfectly walking, it is only a few minutes walk.
Also if you arrive from the airport, in addition to coming by taxi, Uber or Cabify, another very convenient option is to take the local train at the airport that stops directly at the Atocha station, and from there walk to the apartment, if you do not have many suitcases, this can be a very convenient option.
THE FINE PRINT
-There are baby cots available to rent for 30€ / stay. Please request the baby cot to the host prior to your arrival.
-Every guest must present a valid ID/Passport upon check-in.
-Events and/or parties are not allowed.
-For reservation of 28 nights or more, electricity and gas bills are not included in the price.
-Please note that if your arrival date is the same as the day you made your reservation, we cannot guarantee that the apartment will be ready for your check-in before 5:30 PM.
