Puerta del Sol V is a renovated apartment with an unbeatable location, situated next to Plaza de Santa Ana and Puerta del Sol. It is ideal for spending some time in Madrid.

You have a living room with a double sofa bed and a 32” TV, a perfect space to relax after a day exploring Madrid. The apartment includes a full bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and two bedrooms — one with a double bed and the other with two single beds.

It also features a complete kitchen, perfect for preparing your favorite recipes during your stay in Madrid.

Being a first-floor interior apartment, it maintains the temperature very well, staying cool in summer and warming up easily in winter.

Located on Calle de la Cruz, you can enjoy a stay in the very heart of Madrid.

A disaster from start to finish. DO NOT STAY HERE!

First, I had to pay them through a weird system and not through VRBO. It didn’t work and their payment system didn’t work. It look a few days for them to figure it out. This was annoying. I should have just walked away at this point. Cockroaches the size of mice were in the place. We found 2 and had to kill them. Check in process and how to get in was ridiculous. We finally just got keys. If you don’t have data you won’t be able to get in, and they don’t tell you that. Even when we got data the process of getting to keyboard, then entering code, then going to your email and swiping (which worked only 10% of the time) … ridiculous. There was not enough toilet paper, soap etc. So we had to buy our own. The mattresses need replacing. The walls are so thin we hear everyone beside us especially in the mail room and living room. We could hear something in the walls at night. Mice? The electrical kept shorting out repeatedly. Even when just making coffee. We didn’t know what to do so had to eat out and all they said was sorry. We called the Charming office with little help. When we said we wanted to speak to the owner we were told we can’t because he only speaks English. So all we can do is write our review here. Last, it’s a fire trap. You are floors up, no elevator, down a corridor with turns …. If there was a fire or other emergency, you can’t get out because bedrooms kitchen bathroom etc have no windows. And the window that is there has bars on it!

les plus: appartement très bien situé pour visiter à pied, propre, literie de bonne qualité les moins: accès à l'immeuble par code à valider à chaque passage sur le téléphone. Quand le réseau est médiocre, cela engendre des difficultés pour rentrer. La mise à disposition d'une clef des communs serait la bienvenue. Appartement sombre: uniquement 2 petites fenêtres pour l'éclairer, pas de fenêtre dans l'une des chambres, ni dans la cuisine. Equipement de la cuisine minimaliste Peu de pression d'eau chaude pour la douche Beaucoup de bruits la nuit venant d'une discothèque très proche, donc difficultés à dormir sauf les lundi et mardi, jours de fermeture de la boite! Quand on a visité toute la journée, le minimum serait de pouvoir se reposer la nuit!
