Cozy 2-bedroom and 2-bathroom apartment recently renovated located on Moreto street, just a step from Retiro Park.

The apartment has a spacious and bright living room with a double pull out and lift up sofa-bed, armchairs, side table and television. In addition, it has a dining table with chairs with capacity for 6 people. From the living room we can access the small and pleasant terrace overlooking the street and with a garden table and chairs, ideal for eating out or simply relaxing.

Next to the dining area is the kitchen, open to the living room and equipped with everything you need.

The apartment has two bedrooms, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed and a complete bathroom en suite with a shower. In addition, the apartment has a second independent bathroom complete with shower.

The booking of each Genteel Home accommodation includes the offer of extra experiences or activities to improve your experience, which are managed by external providers, who will inform you by e-mail or Whats App, and you can contract or refuse them. For more information about the management of experiences and extra activities of the accommodations, please visit our Privacy Policy on our official website.

** For monthly stays, water and electricity supplies will be included up to a maximum of € 100 per month. If the expenses are higher, the guest will have to pay the difference. The corresponding invoice will be sent by the accommodation to the guest to verify the expenses**

During your stay, the access to the property is limited exclusively to the number of individuals specified at the booking process. Consequently, entry to the property is strictly prohibited for persons not registered as guests. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in an additional charge amounting to 50% of the total cost of the stay as a penalty, or alternatively, immediate expulsion from the accommodation.

Excellent!

We stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful experience. The property manager was always available, friendly and helpful. We got periodic cleanings, towels and sheet changes. The location is amazing walking distance to main museums and many restaurants and bars. The apartment is comfortable and spacious. We hand an excellent stay.

Nice stay

Spent several days there. Communication with host was excellent. Place was clean. HVAC no issues. Internet was fine. Space is quite tight but the nice bathrooms compensate. Just bring your ear plugs to help sleep due to the stomping noise from upstairs neighbors till 1am. Overall it served its purpose and good experience.

Great apartment next to the Prado

My family of four stayed here for four nights. The Genteel property manager was in constant contact by WhatsApp and was waiting with the key for us when we arrived. We were scheduled to arrive before check-in time, but the property manager offered to let us drop off our luggage while the apartment was being cleaned Turns out, though, that it was ready early! The apartment was the perfect size for us (2 adults, a 15-year old and an 11-year old) and in such a great location. A block from the Prado and two blocks from Retiro Park. It was on a very quiet street with several restaurants within a few blocks. The balcony was perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of the coffee. The only negative is that the master circuit breaker tripped twice when we were gone, but it was simple to reset. Otherwise, this apartment was fantastic.

Con muy poco más podría ser un excelente departamento!

El apartamento es muy agradable y está en una ubicación inmejorable, pero me resultó un poco pequeño para mi familia de 6. El baño que tiene el lavarropas podría estar mucho mejor aprovechado y seria ideal si incluyera también una secadora, ya que no hay lugar donde tender la ropa. El sofa-cama es bastante malo y muy incómodo. La vajilla escasa, faltan varias piezas que se ve que se fueron rompiendo y no se repusieron. Tuvimos que reclamar por las toallas, porque las dos veces nos dejaron de menos.También tuvimos un problema de falta de agua caliente durante la noche, todo el fin de semana.

Cozy apartment close to Prado

The good: Location of the apartment is great. Prado museum is literally a block away, and the park is also a block away in the opposite direction. There are at least four restaurants and a coffee shop within a two block radius. The not-so-good: The apartment was not ready for us when we arrived (after the scheduled check-in time). It was still being cleaned, for which the real estate agent apologized. Not a big deal, we used this time to get a late lunch. The apartment itself is on a smaller side, especially the second bedroom. The heat radiators are controlled by the building, and heat gets turned off during the night. Though there are individual heaters installed in every room which can be used to supplement the radiators, the instructions said not to run them continuously. There is no dishwasher, so I assume the dishes get washed by hand by the housekeeper - we found several dirty plates and mugs on the shelve, and had to re-wash them. Also, I have to agree with one of the reviews - the apartment would definitely benefit from having a coat rack or simple hooks installed in the hallway. The nearest parking garage is about four blocks away, but it was always full. Finding street parking around the building was very hard, especially during the evening hours. Other than this, we liked the place, and loved the location. It was close enough to all the craziness (Plaza Mayor and nearby streets and squares) to walk to, but far enough to be quiet for a good night sleep.

Nice place to see Madrid

The family enjoyed this place. It was in a central place right near the part, but still quiet. The Museum was 1 block away and we could walk to the Palace in about 15-20 minutes, through the Old Town.

Tolles Appartement

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in einem tollen Appartement. Die Lage zwischen Prado und Retiro-Park ist hervorragend. Der Check In verlief ohne Probleme, auch unsere Fragen während unseres Aufenthalts wurden sofort und zu unserer Zufriedenheit beantwortet. Die Ausstattung des Apartments ist sehr gut, die Küche klein und nicht für üppige Mahlzeiten gedacht. Aber in der Straße sind sehr gute Restaurants, die wir ausgiebig genutzt haben. Wir können das Appartement uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Fantastic Location

The apartment was clean and bright, with a nice little balcony. The shower in the primary bathroom was excellent, one of the best ever. The beds were fine, not great but certainly acceptable. The furniture , primarily Ikea, is functional. A few hooks for hanging coats in the hall and a couple in the twin bedroom are definitely needed as there is no place in that room to hang anything. These are inexpensive, easy fixes which would be a big improvement. However all this is overridden by the excellent location. Quiet at night, right behind the Prado-a 2minute walk, easy access to the park and a comfortable walk to lots of the sights. There are a couple restaurants in the neighborhood and a little bodega where you can get basic necessities. I strongly recommend this as an easy, extremely convenient place to stay.

Lovely apartment in great location

This is a lovely, little apartment located on a quiet neighborhood street just behind the Prado. It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the neighborhood much more than the more congested and touristy parts of time. Though you can get to any other areas, or the train stations for day trips, via a quick and convenient Uber. The management team was responsive and polite, and we would stay here again.

Best Point is Proximity to Atocha Train Station

The apartment was very clean, on the 1st floor, the patio lovely, kitchen well-equipped and the bathrooms comfortable. Communication with Sofia via WhatsApp was excellent and the 2nd set of keys appreciated. The bedding and towels were nice, and there is a washing machine and drying rack (so make sure you have time to line dry clothes). However, the apartment is quite expensive, and I expected a better unit for the price with a normal 2nd bedroom and a location across from the park per the listing. Downsides: I had the small bedroom. The roller shutter and curtain were broken, the 2nd BR window overlooked a discarded and moldy couch and chair and gave way onto a back courtyard patio that was accessible from the outside hall, there was no screen on the window, there is no closet in the room, and it barely fit 2 single beds with a tiny nightstand between them. The building lobby and halls smell a bit but not the unit which has good light from the patio. Also the unit is near Retiro Park but is not in front of the park and does not overlook the park (the park is about 2 blocks away). There are restaurants about 4-5 blocks away, a nice cafe about 2 blocks away and it’s within walking distance of a lot so the location is OK but it’s not in the middle of things. We did get the impression from the listing that the unit overlooked the park, which is not correct.

Great location - needs some TLC

The place was quite nice . However, the furniture is old and needs re-stuffing and a good cleaning. The apartment itself was quite dusty. On the upside, the air conditioner worked really well, the property manager was fantastic, and the location was exactly what we wanted - close to everything. Location is excellent. We would not return to this apartment due to the issues mentioned previously

We stayed for two nights on our way through Madrid. Great location to access many key sites in the city. Easy walk to Retiro Park, botanical gardens and the Prado. Easy check in, efficient space and two bathrooms a big plus. Would stay again. Neighborhood location gives great local feel.

I stayed with my three kids and it was perfectly quaint and location was perfect to get to retiro park quickly for my kids to play. Gabriella was easy to contact, and made check in very easy as well. Great location, easy wifi access, and quite comfy beds and sheets!

Amazing location.

The apartment was immaculate and in a wonderful location. We were right next to Retiro Park, The Prado and right above a good cafe. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. The coffee shop down the street had the best brunch I've ever had. The ac was very nice after a day out walking, and the view of the church across the street was spectacular at night from the balcony. It is decorated so nice, and I would recommend it to everyone. If their was only one downside it was the master bed mattress was uncomfortable, but I would absolutely stay here again.

What a delightful place.

Very new and modern. Wonderful location and the space was perfect for 4 adults. Would definitely come back. One suggestion...put a row of hooks in the hallway for coats as there is not tons of closet space and it would make it a bit more convenient. But all in all the experience was on of the best vrbo rentals I have done.
