La habitación que nos dieron estaba muy sucia prácticamente abandonada tenía un olor desagradable lleno de insectos telarañas por donde sea la luz terrible muy mal lugar

I stay here at least once a year. Love the location. Not a high end place but comfy great view of the bridge, bonfire next to lake just a great place. Very private also. Staff so helpful amd very nice. Will be back many more times to come. And pet friendly with a inexpensive fee.

Great accommodations for the price, though I would have liked to use the indoor/outdoor pool & hottub (both freezing). The [single full size] room was cute & rustic. The 2nd floors added a balcony where the 1st floors stepped out onto the beach & had a stone firepits. While guest internet was slow & spotty, the shower water was lukewarm, and the walls between rooms paper thin... the view of the Mackinac Bridge & Mackinac Island more than made up for it.

Room was tiny but you know $70 a night you get what you get, spiders in the room. Hot tub was cold and didnt look very inviting. The people that worked there where nice though. I dont necessarily blame them for the quality of the hotel either, the place is older.

It was it not bad. It was the first weekend of the summer season and you could tell the room wasn’t cleaned recently but nothing horrible. Bathroom needed a quick wipe down. Right on the water view a good view.

Definitely not what the picture shows and not worth the price. Bathroom door would not keep shut or even lock. Small shower (definitely would not fit a tall person). Spider webs around the window and corners of the walls. There were stains on the sheets. At least the view was nice.

Rooms smelled. Did not stay at hotel. Dirty, no light in bathroom when we got there. Husband got new bulbs from office. Dead bugs in light cover. Rooms should not be rented out in the motel. Another guest was complaining about their room also Only good thing is the location and view the rest needs a full renovation .

This is the perfect location. The sheets were clean and we used a black light to make sure. We only interacted with three staff memebers. Two were really nice and one was pretty rude and unhelpful. The room was old and falling apart. The ceiling was falling down over our bed. There was mold in the corner of the ceiling. The bathroom floor was rotting. The room smelled musty. I'm glad we only stayed one night, and if there had been a room somewhere else in the area we would have gone there, but we wouldn't have gotten a refund for this so since the beds were clean we stayed but we will not be back unless they do major renovations.

Property should be condemned!!!! Pictures on Expidia are NOT what the rooms look like. It's filthy!!! I was moved to 2 different rooms the second room had no hot water and the toilet would not flush. Management refused to refund my money. They moved us to a better motel however the floor was dirty and the air conditioner stopped working during our stay. We cut our vacation short because of all the issues. Rooms also had no smoke detectors, front door would not lock and stayed open all day and night.

Place was filthy couldn’t even 2 min went right in to ask for refund she said ok then someone else came from outback she then said nevermi d and handed us key to a different hotel up road said we’d love it well we did id was still dirty and not in great shape beds were most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on we would of went right back to continue being refunded but it was so uncomfortable in the office my wife insisted we just deal with it then no housekeeping not hot tub no grills to use all which was listed as there it even Took 3 days to get new towels never would stay there again. It really sucks especially when you use a service for booking trips for a long time then end up this disappointing a d there’s nothing you can really do about it.

The owner and staff were wonderful, they helped with needs. Had a beautiful view from our cabin and we would book another reservation at Bell's Melody Motel.

The beds were clean. The rest was a dump. Wallpaper peeling off the wall in multiple places, tv did not work, bathroom shower head super low- would not even hit above my son’s shoulders. Black dots all over the bathroom ceiling- no fan for bathroom to help humidity. Broken ice machine outside the room. Front office looked abandoned, all check ins had to go through the neighboring hotel that advertised much cheaper rooms and property was much nicer. Door knob had a lock on it (not a dead bolt) and door had a chain lock. It seemed like one good kick would open it right up. They offered a different room but besides being waterfront and having a working tv, it was in the same condition and not worth the move. We were denied any kind of refund even though we paid 3x the neighboring hotel. Had it not been later in the evening and a long drive home, we would have just left. Again, the beds were clean though.

This place was awful. The first room they put me in with a glorified shed. I had to bat away cobwebs to get into my room. The bathroom floor looked like someone died there. I went back and asked for a different room which they gave me and the second room had animal hair all over the floor. It looked like somebody operated a grooming service out of that room. It also smelled like somebody burned trash in that room. I went to the manager who looked like a bootleg version of Post Malone and he proceeded to tell me that I did book a budget hotel so what should I expect? I expected the room that would be clean and if there’s anything else, I also just asked if I could get my money back and just leave and he said no you’ve committed already and we can’t give you your money back. This is their chance to make it right and let me find somewhere else to stay, but I was stuck there. I asked for an upgrade so they put me in one of their other properties which is next-door - the Bridgeview Motel. (So I had to pay even more) He said they had just renovated it and I should have no more problems. When I walked into the room, I was quite impressed by how it looked for one second. I walked into the room and realized that somebody had put vinyl tiling over the studs with no subfloor. The floor gave away in spots so I had to walk on the studs. The electrical wiring in the room was exposed as well- there’s probably all kinds of code violations. I made it one night - paid for two but I was done.
