In Lyon's hyper-centre, this magnificent 160m2 duplex apartment is perfect for visiting the city's landmarks.

This flat, located on the 3rd and 4th floors with lift, subtly blends traditional architecture with modern, elegant decoration. It also boasts a view of Fourvière Cathedral, perfect for the Festival of Lights.
It is composed of :
- a bright living room with a comfortable sofa,
- a modern, fully-equipped kitchen (Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher, fridge and freezer), open to the living room
- one bedroom with king-size bed (180 cm) and en-suite shower room,
- a second bedroom with a king-size bed,
- one bedroom with a double bed (140 cm),

Best location ever!

This is a wonderful apartment in a great neighborhood. It is on a pedestrian walkway filled with interesting restaurants. You will really feel like you are in Lyon. There is nothing bad to say about the place. It is the French dream place.

Do NOT recommend; Pictures make the property look much better than it is

We spent four nights at this “superb” apartment. The property looks good in pictures, but the pictures do not accurately represent the property. We would NOT recommend this property. The apartment is two floors with the kitchen, living room, a bedroom without a closet and a toilet downstairs. By using a spiral staircase, you access the upper floor, which has one bedroom with a shower and sink-no toilet, two other bedrooms, a hallway bathroom with shower, tub and sink-no toilet. There is a tiny room with a toilet in the upper floor hallway. It Is so small it makes it very difficult/uncomfortable to use the toilet. Location is good-close to Rue Mercier and Rue Grenette. Comfortable beds. Clean sheets. The bad: Communication. When asking information about the property prior to booking, answers were incomplete. Certain questions were not answered. We assumed it was the result of translation from Eng to French and vice-versa. I’m not so sure now. The bathroom/toilet situation was not made clear even though we asked. The property was not cleaned very well. Particularly, the cloth headboard in one of the bedrooms had hair and dirt on the top and back side of it, which is unsanitary. None of the sinks or showers drained properly. The sinks/showers could not have been properly cleaned since the drains did not drain. Disgusting! There are many other items to mention, but I am limited to 1500 chars. Many aspects of this property are in a very worn state almost in disrepair.

Wonderful place for our stay (8 of us) in Lyon. Right upstairs from many restaurants and bar and an easy walk to sights in Lyon.

Location fantastic - issues with duplex layout

The apartment is large in scale. Property agt that met us was very nice, but delivered some unfortunate news. The lift was inoperable. Really surprising that the rental company did not email me in advance to advise of that development to ensure that there were no travelers with mobility issues. We learned of it upon arrival. We do not have mobility issues, but I selected this apartment because it had an elevator to reach the upper floors w/bags. 73 steps up & 20 in the flat. On the lower floor, there is a W.C, living room, kitchen & very small bedroom. There is a spiral staircase leading to the upper floor. I am not sure that even if the elevator was operating that you would have access to the upper floor & bedrooms. This is not described at all in the apartment details. Neither are the W.C.s On the top floor of the building, there are 2 king rooms, 1 w/shower&sink, laundry room, an external room w/shower & bathtub & a VERY TINY water closet that is next to the laundry room & spiral stairs. Pros - the location is great, plenty of glasses/plates, washer/dryer. Cons - magnetic toilet seats, only 1 WC for 3 bedrooms upstairs, no real kitchen equipment for cooking, dull knives, no water upon arrival as advertised. Some had to go down the spiral stairs middle of the nt for the WC. Towel rack in lrg bath didn't work & no reply from agt. Needed 2nd key & that took many texts/long time. Had a great trip, loved the location, but would not choose this flat again.
