"Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!!
And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended"

"The Crossways is an updated building. Regrettably there is no lift and a narrow staircase which makes taking heavy cases upstairs difficult. We had a problem with our room but what makes me give this hotel a 5 star rating was their service recovery was brilliant.
The team are very friendly and my Venison Pie for dinner was excellent. Top marks to our waiter who when an item was sold out apologised so well and convinced me to have the Venison pie.

"The castle was a true castle and maintained well. The staff is every area we’re kind and friendly. This is a very nice place to enjoy adult only accommodations and my wife and I would stay here again if ever in the area. Food was also top quality and served as if you were at a 5 star restaurant. "

As the hotel is in the centre of Lacock, its a great location for exploring the village and the abbey. The graveyard is also worth a visit."

Great location just outside of Bath but the hotel is very dated and needs a refurb. Rooms are clean but dark wood furniture and bathroom facilities definitely need an update.
Breakfast was average in a very old fashioned dining area and buffer layout was amateurish compared with modern hotels.
That said, lovely location and great pub at the bottom of the driveway!"
