  • This homely and well-furnished holiday retreat provides a perfect romantic escape for two and is just a 5-minute walk into the village of Sway.. Ground Floor:

    Living room: 40" Freeview TV, DVD Player

    Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Washer Dryer

    First Floor:

    Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

    Bathroom: Corner Bath, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This well-presented cottage, adjoining the owner’s home, offers a comfortable, light and spacious base for couples to explore this scenic area. The delightful village of Sway is about a 5-minute walk away, and has a lovely community feel, with fetes and carnivals annually, as well as local shops and pubs. Located just outside Lymington, the popular harbour town has a host of boutiques, inns and eateries, and the ferry to the Isle of Wight, perfect for a day trip! Laurel Cottage is situated down a lane with direct access to the New Forest National Park, famous for its roaming ponies and miles of open heathland, ideal for walking, cycling and riding. The property offers a homely and well-furnished holiday retreat, and lies in a convenient location for road links to the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, Christchurch harbour and the coast, including Poole and Bournemouth. Other attractions include Bucklers Hard, Beaulieu Motor Museum and New Forest Otter and Owl Park. Maritime Southampton and various other tourist attractions are within easy driving distance. Beach 5 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

We would recommend Laurel Cottage for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. It's a beautiful spot with the New Forest on your doorstep, in a quiet village with a pub and a co-op store, plus a few other local shops. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you might need and the owners are really helpful if you need advice. It's a great location for exploring the New Forest and surrounding area.
