En la planta baja hay salas de estar y comedor independientes y cocina bien equipada. Las puertas francesas conducen al área exterior con un baño exterior y un gran jardín ideal para barbacoas y sol de la tarde, además de vistas al mar.

El primer piso tiene una gran habitación doble con cama king size y lavabo. Un dormitorio con literas y baño separado con ducha sobre la bañera.

El segundo piso tiene una habitación doble más grande con cama king size y lavabo y una habitación doble con lavabo más un cuarto de baño con lavabo y WC.

Hay un aparcamiento público de larga estancia a pocos minutos a pie del Teal House. Los costos a partir de febrero de 2019 son de £ 1 por hora y los permisos cuestan £ 25 por 3 días y £ 50 por una semana. Podemos proporcionar permisos con un descuento a estos precios.

Adorable cottage next door to adorable museum!

Our family of 6 visited for our youngest child’s birthday (fossil hunting and ice cream, what else could a 9 yr old want!). The cottage was so perfect for us, walkable to everywhere and just next door to the best quirky private museum we’ve seen in ages (and we’re connoisseurs of quirky little museums). We also very much loved the Town Mill down the street! Thanks for being friendly and quick to reply, you made our holiday restful.

Ideal family holiday property

We enjoyed our weekend at Teal House The location is great for exploring Lyme. The arrangements with Mark were great and no issues. Just a couple of house keeping surprises, very dusty under furniture and a few unclean dishes and plates in the kitchen and also around the extractor area could do with a good clean Overall a nice property.

Good House but in need of deep cleaning

Very good location and set up in general but as per title in need of a good spring cleaning. The amount of dust under the bed but also the lounge is on the unhealthy side, rubbish ( literally under the bunk bed ) and the carpet should also be professionally cleaned. Overall good location, spacious but needs some TLC.

Wonderfully central and close to everything

4 of us and a little fluffy dog stayed in the middle of November. We were lucky to have the most wonderful weather which enabled us to make the most of eating outside at Mark Hix's restaurant one evening! We had everything we needed and especially liked the garden, enclosed and safe for Megan to go out. The rooms were very comfortable and the house was warm and cosy. The only drawback with this lovely property is not being able to park. We felt quite beleaguered when we unpacked our stuff, with impatient drivers coming both way. That said, parking was just up the road (a fairly steep hill but no distance). We would have also liked to have a standup shower over the 1st floor bath but that is really splitting hairs, All in all, we would certainly like to stay here again if we come back to Lyme Regis.

Great property, ideally placed

My wife and I (and two whippets) spent 4 days at Teal House in September and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The house is roomy, the garden is very good and the house is a few minutes from the centre of Lyme. We were a bit surprised at paying separately for cleaning whilst that and the service charge added a lot to the total cost. Mark the owner is very helpful and his instructions are very comprehensive. Overall we'd stay again!

Another great holiday in Lyme!

We enjoyed our stay in Teal House - our second visit. The house is very well situated close to the beach, shops, and the bakers where you can buy delicious bread, croissants etc. There are also many cafés and restaurants nearby. We hardly used our cars at all as there is so much to do within walking distant. Our visits have become a family favourite. We hope to be back again next year.

Comfortable, clean accommodation centrally located.

We are a family of 4 and one dog We visited May 2018. We found the accommodation clean and comfortable. The large safe garden was a lovely surprise. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a family. Communication with Mark was very good keeping intouch with us before and during our stay. I would highly recommend Teal Cottage, we plan to book again in the future.

We had a lovely family weekend here. The house worked well for 6 and was well equipped. The garden looked great although we only had a quick look as it was November and a little chilly. Would love to come back in the summer months to make the most of it.

Great location

Property exceptionally clean, well presented and equipped. Enough seating and space. The 2 double bedrooms are particularly lovely. The twin room was a tad cold as only a fan heater available. Enjoyed the location as can access everything from here. A great weekend in a great property. Would highly recommend Bonfire weekend as there's a Big Bonfire and fireworks on the beach, but book restaurants as all were fully booked ! Also be aware that most eateries stop at 9pm.

Great location, bathrooms and stairs need refurb

Great for walking out fossil hunting in both directions. Property getting a bit tatty: refitting the bathrooms and painting the stairs fit new carpet would make it far more welcoming. Kitchen heater didn't work.

Really good stay

It was home from home. The place is literally round the corner from The Mill, the fossil museum, the Museum of Lyme Regis and the beach. It's also opposite a pub and several restaurants. The place itself is cosy and all the heaters work! The rooms are a fair size and there's a great garden with a view outside. We didn't get the TV or the CD player to work but we weren't really there to watch TV. Wi-fi connection was excellent and we never had a problem finding space in the car park. It's better to book a permit with the owner as it's cheaper than paying day by day. We were a bunch of friends staying and it was great.

Lovely house close to beach, cafes and town centre

There were seven of us staying in Teal House, including two children aged 4 and 6yrs. The house was plenty big enough for us and the garden was an added bonus. It was great being so close to the beach where the children had lots of fun collecting fossils. There were many good places to eat, including an amazing bakery just down the road, where we bought pastries and croissants on more than one occasion during our stay! Although we have been to Lyme Regis before, we are all agreed that Teal House has been the best house so far for location and comfort.

Very convenient location. Great having the car park a few hundred metres away and paid up front.

House was well equipped and spacious enough. The shower pump cuts out after use and you need to take the head off the hook, and lower it for a few seconds in order for the pump to kick in again.

Great family break

Everything that was written online was accurate, Teale house is a lovely character property in a perfect location. It was very clean and well maintaned. We would definitely stay again.
