"We love staying at the Ethorpe although we've not since the refurb, but wow! The rooms are amazing, really comfy beds, decorated very tastefully with a gorgeous bathroom to boot! The whole refurb is brilliant. The breakfast was fantastic. Such a wonderful choice of breakfasts from pancakes to eggs benedict. A wide array of juices, pastries, all served by a very helpful and friendly waiter. I would highly recommend the Ethorpe Hotel!"

"Habitaciones perfectamente limpias. No hay limpieza a diario (ni falta que hace), pero sí te ofrecen toallas nuevas y cualquier cosa que necesites. Obviamente, las instalaciones no son modernas. Es un hotel antiguo, histórico, y ahí radica buena parte de su encanto. Tuvimos un problema con la accesibilidad y lo resolvieron con gran amabilidad y eficacia. "I sent this to greeneking Iam writing regarding the room my mother and I stayed in on Christmas Eve. While the room was a reasonable size, it was extremely dated and had visible dents in the wall, which immediately suggested poor maintenance. However, the bathroom was the main issue, and it was in a condition that should never be offered to paying guests. The attached photos show mold along the caulking, rusted and corroded fixtures, cracked fittings, and clear signs of long-term neglect. The...

"Small room but ok for our short stay. Breakfast on the 1st day was missing a couple of ingredients smoked salmon and avocado but other breakfast meals made up for the missing options. Staff in hotel and restaurant very good."
