The Rivers’ Loft Cabin is a nature lover’s paradise perched above the Shenandoah River! No pet fees and no extra charges for guests, just unpack, relax, and enjoy.
Tucked away along the riverbank, The Rivers’ Loft offers a peaceful getaway with private river access right at your front door. This cozy log cabin comfortably sleeps six with one king bed and two queens, perfect for families, couples, or small groups. Snuggle up by one of the two gas fireplaces or gather around the outdoor firepit under the stars.
The wraparound deck overlooks the river and mountains, ideal for morning coffee or dinner on the charcoal grill. Inside, the fully stocked kitchen includes an electric stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, grill gear, and all the utensils and dishes you’ll need.
For outdoor adventurers, we’ve got you covered! Enjoy five kayaks, one canoe, and plenty of life vests for river fun. Paddle, float, or fish right from your private river access, or drop in upriver and float back down to the cabin. When you’re ready to explore, it’s just 13 minutes to Luray, home to the famous Caverns, an air-rope course, zoo, and dining. Shenandoah National Park is only 15 minutes away and offers hiking, scenic drives, and mountain views along Skyline Drive.
When it’s time to unwind, enjoy Starlink Wi-Fi, Roku smart TVs (just log into your streaming apps), books, and board games. There’s even a small smart TV in the loft. While cell signal can be spotty, the Wi-Fi keeps you connected. And if you’re a stargazer, you’ll love our view of the night sky, unobstructed by city lights.
Pet-Friendly? Absolutely!! We’re dog people and your four-legged family members are welcome, no extra fees!
A Rural Escape (But Not Secluded)
Yes, we’re in the countryside but you are not completely alone! There are neighboring cabins, so it is quiet and comfortable without feeling isolated.
The main and secondary roads are paved, but the final stretch is gravel or packed dirt. Depending on the season, you may encounter dust, potholes, or a steep incline. A standard front-wheel-drive vehicle is fine, but low-profile cars and motorcycles aren’t recommended.
🚨 Weather Advisory:
In the event of a major snowstorm or flooding, the road to The Rivers’ Loft may be temporarily impassable. During snow, ice, or heavy rain, a four-wheel-drive vehicle or tire chains may be needed. We always recommend trip insurance just in case. If a major weather event makes the property inaccessible, we’re happy to work with you to reschedule.
