  • Stunning Ocean views overlooking the entrance to Historic UNESCO World Heritage Site "Lunenburg" Watch as Blue Nose II sail in and out of the harbour. Situated on Prestigious Corkums Island connected by causeway just 5Km from Lunenburg with private access to the beach one minute from the house. This renovated 1900s cottage has 3 queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom on the second floor with a kitchen, dining room, living room, and full bathroom on the ground floor. A 43' x 16' deck overlooks the water. Plenty of parking in a quiet neighborhood setting, sitting on an acre of land. Superb location to base yourself on whilst visiting all the sites of Lunenburg County and more. Wake up to deer grazing on the lawn in this beautiful nature's little secret setting.

Another great stay on Corkum's Island! We made great use of the little beach this time, exploring around the island with our canoe. The house tolerated the heat pretty well, and we look forward to our next visit.

Family getaway

Our family stayed at the beach house. It was as listed, beautiful, clean and quiet. Close to town but very peaceful in the evenings. Would 100% stay there again.

The house was in a great location. However the 6 of us feel that the house should have been cleaner than it was, the air conditioning did not work and there when I wrote the owners to inform them that the air was not working I received no response

Corkums Island cottage

The owner should complete more preventative maintenance so guests do not have issues. Better cooling system in the upstairs bedrooms would be beneficial as it can get very hot even with fans.We enjoyed being near the water.

We enjoyed our stay at the apple orchard cottage. The house was spacious and had lots of character. Natasha was quick to respond to any questions I had. Only comment as others have mentioned was that we did find it hot upstairs while sleeping. Thankfully Natasha has a big standing fan in each room which helped somewhat. The location was fantastic being just a short drive into Lunenburg and other south shore locations including the Lahave ferry to enjoy the shops and bakery there. We also enjoyed watching the deer roam the property at their leisure.

Location was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Apple Orchard Cottage in Lunenburg. Location was excellent. House was well equipped and comfortable for our group of 5. Quick drive into Lunenburg. Absolutely loved the breeze that blew through the house on beautiful sunny days!

Everything was good except the house was musty and no A/C upstairs. Natasha was helpful. House had everything we needed. Location excellent.
