"This hotel is a little gem and provided us with a perfect stop over on our way to Dorset for a holiday. We arrived around 7.30pm and the check in process was friendly and efficient. Our room (number 58) was spacious, beautifully decorated and had a lovely balcony plus an extra window, as we were on the corner of the building. The bed was very comfortable. Although there is an option to eat at the hotel, we chose to explore a little and ate at The Wookey Hole Inn, just a few minutes walk away....

"The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was perfectly appointed with everything I needed. All the appliances were easy to use and added to the experience of my stay. There was plenty of hot and cold options for breakfast from yogurts, cereal, fruit, cheese, ham to scrambled eggs, baked beans, hash browns, bacon, sausages and even waffles and croissants. The breakfast area was light and bright and food options were regularly replenished. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Crossways is a gem of a hotel with wonderful views of Glastonbury Tor and the surrounding countryside. The beds are comfortable and Internet access is very good. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are generally very good. There was just one morning when the staff lost track of who still needed to order their breakfasts. Talking of tracks the road to the hotel from Pilton is single track but it is worth the care needed to get there."

"We wanted a pet friendly hotel and boy, did we get it. Every member of staff treated our little pup like royalty. In the room there was a comfortable bed for her with a towel and 2 blankets along with some bowls but the piece de resistance was a the little bag containing poop bags, treats and a ball. "This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in all of England staying at this charming inn. The food was outstanding as well as the service and staff. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if you want to visit several of the southern Pride and Prejudice movie sites such as Stourhead or Wilson House. Stonehenge is also close by!
