Perfectly placed for year-round city stays, this flexible balcony apartment provides an exclusive-feeling base for couples, groups and families. Inside, the well-presented holiday apartment is fully equipped for year-round comfort; with free WiFi and underfloor heating inviting guests to kick off their shoes and feel at home. A stylish open plan living room with l-shaped sofa and flat screen TV offers a welcoming ambience in which to unwind, whilst the accompanying modern kitchen diner for 6 provides a stylish setting for entertaining. The private balcony from the living room overlooks the leafy, vibrant street scene and ‘Parco Ciani’ just opposite, providing a wonderful back drop, whatever the season.

The sleeping accommodation comprises of a gorgeous master double bedroom with wardrobe and small balcony, with partial-lake views. A 2nd smaller bedroom is ideal for children and extra guests, with 2 separate single beds provided. Complementing the flexible layout are 2 luxury fitted shower rooms, one of which is equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The chic city apartment features to the 2nd floor of a 3-storey town residence with lift access. Subject to availability, larger groups looking to stay can also rent an additional apartment in the same building (ID 4111).

Located in the heart of Lugano near the lakeside, guests are a stone’s throw away from Lugano’s casino, the Castello car park and picturesque ‘Parco Ciani’.

Perfectly placed for carefree city breaks, the picturesque lakeside, romantic ‘Parco Ciano’, tennis club, family-friendly Lido and city centre amenities are all within enviable reach on foot. Within easy walking distance guests will also find a host of cultural attractions, including ‘LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura’ and the ‘Museo del Cultura’.

The local scenic hiking routes, regional ski resorts and delights of Lake Lugano, Ticino and nearby Lake Como are also within easy reach, enabling guests to enjoy a fun year-round stay!

For those arriving by public transport, Lugano train and bus station are both 13 minutes’ walk away. Lugano airport is also 14 minutes’ away, whilst Milan Malpensa airport is 1hr drive away.

Great bed, excellent location, great appliances. Broken chesterfield, no hand soap washroom or kitchen, disgusting cutting board, dangerous floor tiles with no shower mat, difficult wifi connection, main washroom had no responsive thermostat and no towel heating bars, no paper towels. Only one dishwashing capsule and one for washing. No window curtains to respect privacy from neighbours, only shutters for this which close the window to light.

Die Wohnung, mit allem drum und dran ist ein echtes Highlight. Durch die Klimaanlage, können die Zimmer im Sommer sehr angenehm temperiert werden. Die Wohnung ist wirklich mit komplett allem ausgestattet was nötig ist. Sehr moderne Küche. Sehr modernes Badezimmer mit WC. Eigener Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage. Die Lage ist genial. Nur wenige Schritte von der Innenstadt und dem See entfernt. 100% empfehlenswert.

We had a wonderful stay at the Star of Lugano. It is a great location - very accessible to shopping, lake, sights..etc The apartment interior was very well appointed and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were lovely. The Happy Rentals staff went above and beyond to help us out and answer questions. They were always available Just two little things to note.... The entry door "knob" was unique and therefore very challenging to both open and to lock the apartment. Better directions would help the visitors. There is a washer and dryer, but the dryer was broken. Not a big issue but should be addressed Also - the apartment is behind the Lugano casino - so it's possible that it could be noisy during warmer months when windows are open. We loved it though and would definitely come back to Lugano and stay there again!

Cleanliness and spaces were wonderful. Lugano is amazing and we were within walking distance of tons of great spots to eat and hang out. Make sure you completely understand how and where to pick up the keys and park ahead of time because that was the most difficult step. Getting from the parking lot to the room first time was a mystery too - in spite of their photographic instructions ahead of time. Also we had no Wifi service bcs the router had no connection to the internet and there were no written instructions handy. Despite the small challenges we LOVED our stay. I would suggest to the property manager that they guide guests into the apartment on the initial visit. They were readily available by phone but for newcomers it was still a bit challenging.

This was a great location for exploring Lugano and the surrounding area. Close to the park, old city and the promenade. A caution if you are staying on the weekend. The clubs are open until very late and the noise prevents sleep. Apartment had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay!
