The property enjoys all-day-long sun exposure and is also fenced for added privacy and security.

Reflecting the owner\'s commitment to sustainability, the property\'s interior has been thoughtfully styled with well-chosen vintage furniture and artworks by the popular local artist Serena Maisto, whose pieces can also be purchased.

The open-plan living space is furnished with comfortable chairs, a built-in sofa, and a smart flat screen TV. This area flows through to the dining space and a modern kitchen that\'s fitted with a breakfast bar, a Nespresso coffee machine, an induction hob, an oven, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer.

Location

The property is nestled on a hillside in the countryside, a 7-minute drive / 20-minute walk from the pretty village of Bre, where guests will find two restaurants: Salotto BRÈ Restaurant in the town centre and Grotto Castagneto located in the woods. During the opening hours of the funicular (a 30-minute walk), there are two other restaurants with panoramic terraces: Vetta Restaurant and Osteria Funicolare at the Vetta del Monte Brè.

Please note that there are no grocery stores in the village, so we recommend shopping before continuing up to the accommodation. The nearest supermarkets are located at the foot of the mountain in Cassarate and Viganello. Lake Lugano, Parco Ciani, and lakeside attractions can all be reached within a 20-minute drive, while Lido San Domenico, Lido de Lugano and San Michele Park are approximately 20 minutes away by car.

There are countless possibilities for walks and excursions in the area. The hike up to Monte Boglia is just 10 minutes, whilst the descent to both Parco Ciani in Lugano and Gandria is 2 hours. The village of Brè is also known for its artistic furniture in the core of the village, with 20 works of art by international artists. In the church of San Simone and San Fedele, you can admire the frescoes by Joseph Birò, a famous Hungarian artist.

The nearest airport is Lugano Airport (a 40-minute drive), and the closest international airport is Milan Malpensa (MXP), about a 1-hour and 30-minute drive.
