The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art of Italian Switzerland) (20 minute walk) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. For people in search of more strenuous exercise, there are regular mountain running races throughout the year as part of the Ticino Mountain Running Cup.

An ideal base for business travelers, the apartment is just an 11 minute walk from the Centro Esposizioni Lugano exhibition centre and an 18 minute walk from the Palazzo Dei Congressi Lugano.
