Located opposite Parco Ciani and just 3-5 minutes’ walk from central Lugano, this sleek and sophisticated 1-bedroom apartment provides a carefree year-round base for leisure and business stays.

The 2nd floor apartment is easily reached by lift and inside is equipped with toasty underfloor heating. The bright and spacious open plan living room enjoys partial lake views, accompanied by a chic double sofa bed, a flat screen SAT TV and a stylish dining area with integrated modern kitchen. The generous layout continues to the double master bedroom, which benefits from balcony access. Accompanying the flexible accommodation is a contemporary fitted shower room, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The 3-storey residence enjoys a convenient city location, 3 minutes’ walk from Parco Ciani and the buzzing Lugano lakeside.

Situated along ‘Piazza Indipendenza’, the 3-store building is just 3 minutes’ walk from the picturesque lakeshore and the popular city park, ‘Parco Ciani’. The lido and tennis club are within a 9-minute stroll away.

The city centre of Lugano with its café-lined piazzas, designer shops, world restaurants, stylish bars, clubs, modern casinos and cultural visitor attractions is reachable on foot within 5-7 minutes. Vibrant Lugano offers plenty for the active guest; with the nearby climbs of Monte Bré, Monte San Salvatore and the ancient Olive Trail all within easy reach.

Lugano airport is 15 minutes’ drive away, whilst Lugano golf club is 19 minutes’ away.

Nearby Como (45 minutes’ drive away) offers a wealth of shopping and dining opportunities too, as well as easy links to Milan and bus-ferry-road links to the touristic Central Lake.

Great central location

The property was very spacious, clean, and right in the heart of Lugano. We were able to explore Lugano very easily from this location! We were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of prosecco:) The unit had a private washer and dryer, which was super convenient to get our laundry done during our extended vacation. The unit didn't have a lot of kitchen equipment to cook meals & while the unit was very spacious for European standards, it seemed too big & a little empty & cold. The central location was awesome, but also right next to the casino, so there was a lot of street noise at night that the windows couldn't block. But I supposed it comes with the place being right in the heart of Lugano. Overall, this place was nice, just needs a little more livable space touches to be better.

Overall it was great. Location could not have been better and the building was nice. It was clean. We had 3 people and it was tight. I would recommend for 2 people to stay. The shower drain was clogged and they immediately came to fix it. The dryer was not working.

"Heart of Lugano" apartment is located in beautiful downtown Lugano.

We loved this apartment, with ample room for both of us. It was clean and fashionably furnished. Newer appliances. It could be noisy outside in the evenings, but closing the windows eliminated the noise entirely. The locked building seemed safe throughout our stay. Just a few short blocks from beautiful Lake Lugano we enjoyed a lovely boat tour of the lake. Easy access to multiple cafes, restaurants and shops gave us plenty to see and do while in Lugano. Lugano has an excellent community transportation system including city buses and funiculars up/down the hills into the city. A ride on the funicular to the top of Monte San Salvatore was a favorite.

Perfect Location

The location of this apartment was one block from Lake Lugano and one block from the entrance to the Park. I loved having the balcony, and ate most of my meals on it. All of the appliances worked well, albeit the Meile engineering takes a bit of time to figure out. In the end, they worked! The apartment was extremely clean, and I felt very comfortable there.

perfekt gelegen im Zentrum

Die Lage ist perfekt, ebenso die Grösse der Wohnung für 1-2 Personen. Mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen könnte schwierig werden (jetzt im Winter nicht der Fall), da die Bar unterhalb der Wohnung auch während der Woche bis weit über Mitternacht laute Gäste (vor der Tür) hatte. Mit geschlossenen Fendtern gehts, auch dann aber störend. Küchenausstattung ausreichend, sehr schönes und sauberes Bad, Schlafzimmer leider nicht gut geputzt (überall am Boden Haare von Vorgänger_in. Hätte gerne ein Manual zu Heizung und TV gehabt, konnte beides nicht bedienen. Alles in allem: Gute Wohnung, um einige Tage Lugano zu erkunden.
