Delightful Vacation Home - Minutes to Okemo, Direct Access to VAST trails

Situated on 12 acres with views of Okemo Mountain and direct access to VAST snowmobile trail. Minutes to charming village of Ludlow and Okemo Mountain base for skiing and sledding in the winter. In the summer there is mountain biking and a host of activities at Jackson Gore, including the mountain coaster, miniature golf and ropes course. Enjoy golf nearby at Fox Run golf course, kayaking at the finger lakes and hiking in the Okemo Valley summer and fall.
Main floor has 2 bunk rooms and open concept living room, kitchen and dining area with stone fireplace. Wrap around deck with gas grill and fire pit a short distance away. Upper level with 2 en suite bedrooms with fantastic views of Okemo and master has gas woodstove and private balcony. Lower level has bedroom, bath, living space with ROKU TV and multigame table. Perfect space for multiple families.
Plenty of outdoor space to snowshoe, cross country ski or hike. Private trail to VAST snowmobile trails which run through the meadow in the back of the property. In the summer months great space for lawn games, camping and enjoying the view of the mountain by the firepit.

This was our 2nd year in a row staying at Noreen’s place. The property is breathtaking, the house is well appointed with comfy beds, solid WiFi and a great kitchen. We had 6 adults and 7 kids and the space never felt cramped, but for us the real show stopper is the side yard and deck. Awesome views, one of the best fire pits I have ever seen and a lawn worthy of many kids games. Extra bonus this year was clear weather to see the Presides meteor shower at night. We can’t wait to stay again next year!

Wonderful Okemo Getaway!

This is our second year staying at this beautiful home. We love the space and amenities, not to mention the location to the mountain. The owners have been very accommodating and communicative. Overall, a wonderful stay for our group of families and hope to return again when we come back to Ludlow.

Spacious and comfortable

This is our 2nd time staying at this house. It is just as we remember it - clean, spacious and comfortable. It is nice to have 4 bathrooms in the house when you have 12 people under one roof. Noreen and Dave were very responsive, and helpful, especially during the blackout. They stayed in touch via phone and text during the incident which made us feel informed and safe. The house has a nice view of the Okemo mountain, from inside as well as from the fire pit, which we enjoyed very much. The meadow was also very nice and fun for the kids.

Amazing!

The home was well appointed with all the amenities and plenty of room for our three families (6 adults and 6 kids). The game room downstairs and open concept living room were awesome and would have been used more often had the weather not been so perfect. The property is truly the star of this place, picturesque mountain views and an amazing fire pit. We will definitely be renting again.

Okemo Feb 24

We had a wonderful stay at Noreen’s home! The house was very clean, had all the amenities that we needed for our trip and easily accommodated multiple families. The home is located just outside of town with a lovely view of the Okemo Mountain resort. It was a quick drive (less than 10 minutes) to the ski resort and when we returned, there was plenty of room for our ski gear to dry overnight downstairs. I highly recommend Noreen’s place if you are looking for a peaceful place to stay in Ludlow.

Great house and location

We are a party of 3 families of 12 people including 5 kids. We stayed at this house for a week. The house is only 10 minutes away from Okemo’s Jackson Gore base and on a quiet street off the main road. It has a nice view of the Okemo mountain and awesome outdoor spaces including a fire pit and an open meadow which both adults and kids loved. The house is well kept and clean. Rooms are comfortable. The house has a tankless hot water system. We were able to take hot showers at the same time in all 4 bathrooms. Yay! Kitchen is well equipped for cooking for our big group. There was enough firewood for both the indoor fireplace as well as for the outdoor fire pit. Noreen was very nice and responsive. When we found out the outdoor grill was out of propane gas, she came to bring us a new tank. Overall, we had a great experience at this house!

Incredible time at Okemosabe

We stayed with a group of 4 families, 8 adults and 9 kids, all 8 and under, and we had an incredible time. The house is perfectly sized for us (especially the bunk rooms!). Everything was fantastic and Noreen was so responsive, so kind. Cannot wait to go back.

Fantastic Stay

We really enjoyed our stay for a winter weekend near Okemo. Very nice house with enough space and comfort for everyone. Convenient access to Ludlow and Okemo. Communication with Noreen was seemless.

Nice property for a ski trip

The property has a pretty good layout and can easily fit 3 families. It’s cozy and clean. It only takes 8 minute's drive to the Okemo ski resort. We’ll come back again! Thanks for sharing your property!

Perfect ski house

The house fit our three families nicely. Nice private location but still close to slopes and town. Basement bedroom not as glamorous as the upstairs bedroom suites but basement has a door that closes the room, bathroom and sitting area off from the rest of the house to make it a little suite. Would definitely stay here again.

A really nice ski vacation

We had a great stay at Noreen's house in Ludlow for a 3 day ski vacation to Okemo. The owner was excellent to work with, responsive to our questions, and check in was a breeze. The house was clean and furnishings well kept. Beds were comfortable and warm, even the bunks which were all used, were comfortable for all the guys. There were extra towels for the bathrooms which was great for our crew after skiing all day. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for the large group. Large screen TV worked easily which was critical given we were there on Superbowl Sunday. We used the fireplace each night with the plentiful firewood. At first we were nervous since the large TV was directly above the fireplace, but our expert firemen know what they were doing and it created a really nice ambiance watching a movie with a fire going after a long day on the slopes. We didn't use the game room downstairs much, but for families I think that would be great as a secondary gathering place. Upstairs 2 master bedrooms were large and comfortable with separate very clean baths. The view of Okemo from the property was a nice plus. I imagine in warmer months it must be fun to sit by the outdoor campfire pit and look across the valley to the mountain. The road to the house is very steep, my minivan would need chains I think if snow covered. We would definitely rent again.

Great stay

This is an excellent property with a very nice and gracious host. The house was perfect for our ski vacation and was in an excellent location. Unlike some other VRBO's we've stayed at before this was well stocked. The host was very responsive and pleasant. Overall awesome experience, we are planning to stay there again next year! Thanks

Great experience

We had a group of friends stay for our annual ski trip at Okemo and had a wonderful experience. The house was clean and the check-in process was seamless. Plenty of parking for our cars and space in the house for us to hang out. We made good use of the outdoor fire pit and the indoor fireplace. I would definitely recommend this home!

Amazing home close to Okemo

My friends and I had the best stay here. It was perfect for 10 of us, and we had plenty of space. I would absolutely come back as it’s super convenient to downtown ludlow and Okemo resort!
