Four Seasons on the Bayou is a cozy, well appointed cottage that offers everything you need to sit back, relax and experience all that an Up North vacation has to offer! Located on the Middle Bayou of Hamlin Lake, this cottages is nestled on a picturesque cul-de- sac along and offers shared access to the water front of the Middle Bayou of Hamlin Lake. Just 10 minutes to the nearest Lake Michigan Beach, this cottage is perfectly situated for a quiet relaxing getaway and adventures on the water.

Sleeping accommodations include a queen and twin bed in each of the two bedrooms and a futon in the living room. The full bathroom offers a handicap accessible tub/shower combination and the second bathroom, located in the basement, has a stand up shower stall. High speed WIFI is available for times you want to be connected and for days relaxing inside you can curl up on the couch and stream your favorite series on the SmartTV or gather the family for game night. This home now offers Central Air Conditioning! The spacious living room and dining area are perfect for spending family time together. If outdoor cooking is more your style head outside to the gas grill and enjoy your meals together on the front porch dining table.

Hamlin Lake is an all sports lake perfect for boating, tubing, jet skiing and fishing. Fishing on Hamlin Lake can be enjoyed year round as Hamlin Lake is well known to be a great ice fishing lake and the perfect access point is located less than 1 mile north of the cottage which is suitable for accessing the lake with snowmobiles and/or ATVs. For your enjoyment a canoe, two kayaks and a paddle boat are available for your use along with paddles and life jackets. There is dock available if you plan to bring your own boat. Please note, there is a small bridge you will need to pass under with your boat in order to access Hamlin Lake from the bayou. After boating around the lake head over to the dunes on Hamlin Lake. This is a great spot to anchor your boat, swim and relax on the beach. If you're feeling adventurous you can climb the dune and you will find Lake Michigan on the other side. There is a marine fuel station on the lake and a great marina bar/restaurant located at Wilson Hill Park and Boat Launch. When you return for the day, conveniently clean your fresh catch of the day at the fish cleaning station. Once you're ready to relax for the evening you can spend your time around the fire pit by the lake and take in beautiful sunsets over Hamlin Lake.

If you want to venture away from the cottage you can head to Ludington. It is approximately a 10-15 minute drive from the cottage and the downtown area has a wide array of unique, restaurants and shops as well as Sand Castle Children's Museum. Stearns Park in Ludington offers one of the best Lake Michigan beaches. The Ludington State Park is also approximately 10-15 minutes away where you can hike, swim, kayak, river float and fish.
