Vacances au bord de l’eau

La maison est grande magnifique et fonctionnelle, la vue sur la mer incroyable et le grand jardin côté rue très appréciable. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de repos en famille.

Luc-sur-Mer

The location of the house was superb for morning and afternoons on the beach for swimming, relaxing and introducing a toddler to the sea. The house itself was beautifully equipped and comfortable for us all, and the small town perfect for early morning coffee and excellent croissants with a choice of small restaurants for other meals. Great location for exploring the sights of Normandy too.

Perfect place for a family holiday

The villa is situated directly on the beach with shops and restaurants in walking distance. It’s very spacious and perfect for a big family or a group of friends. Well equipped and comfortable. Everybody loved it, especially the big livingroom and the outside dining area.

Maison ideale

Maison très bien située, sur la plage et à10mn à pied du centre. Accueil très sympathique, maison propre, bien équipée et chaleureuse. La literie est excellente. Notre séjour fut en tout point parfait. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Emplacement et maison exceptionnels

Tout a été parfait dans ce séjour, je n’ai rien de plus à ajouter ! Maison parfaitement équipée, très agréable à vivre et directement sur la plage. On se sent aussitôt très bien dans cette belle maison familiale. Accueil et départ facile avec des hôtes charmants . Je n’ai que des éloges à faire concernant ces vacances qui nous ont vraiment ressourcés. Merci ! On reviendra sans aucun doute!

Perfect Family Visit to Normandy

The villa is beautiful! The home was perfect for our family of eight and three generations. The villa offers the best of old-world charm and modern facilities, with completely renovated baths and kitchen. We loved the ocean view, walks on the beach and easy access to grocery stores and restaurants. Note re: restaurants - DO visit L Escapade, located on Rue du Dr Charcot, an easy walk from the villa; DO NOT visit Le Temps des Mets. Not outlined in the costs was a $100 cleaning fee. We chose to have this amount deducted from our damage deposit as we were not aware of this expense. The owners were very friendly, responsive and welcoming, and we loved our stay. We give this location the highest recommendation!

The home was very clean and in a lovely beach location. Comfortable for our 8 people.

We really enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately there were no instructions in English in their instruction book. Would be best if a translated welcome book was available. Homey, comfortable, very well stocked kitchen. Close to cafes and restaurants. We would stay here again. Thank you so much to Annie!

Superbe

Avec enfants et petites enfants nous avons passé une superbe semaine de vacances de Pâques. La maison est idéalement bien placée et est parfaitement équipée. La pièce à vivre est purement magique, et les literies sont de très bonne qualité. Nos contacts avec les propriétaires ont été parfaits. Nous recommandons sans hésiter !

Large well equipped house in an excellent location on the Beach

We were a group of 8 and this house in Normandy was an excellent fit for our needs. The house is large with 5 bedrooms and 4 baths and a large family/living room and eating area ideal for gathering and lounging. The kitchen is well equipped, although small if you plan to have more that 2 people in the kitchen or cook for a larger group. Two of the bedrooms are smaller and at least one of the bedrooms is more suitable for children. Location is fantastic, right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants, bakery, grocery stores, etc. Its relatively easy driving to the Normandy beaches, we walked back from Juno beach, but Omaha beach is a good 1 hour drive. One of my bigger complaints is the difficulty finding the house. There is no house number and the numbers on the street are not in sequence. This should be easy to fix. The host was helpful and available, although it was a bit difficult to communicate given our limited French and the host's limited English. Overall a nice large house and enjoyable experience, and we would recommend. I would give the house a 4.5 rating, but gave it a 4 stars on the VRBO option (4 or 5) as there are a few things that are not quite up to 5 star standard, including kitchen.

Absolutely amazing home ocean front with all amenities ! The owner was amazing and very nixe !

Simply perfect ! We had a family of 12 and it was plenty of room with all the American amenities ! Loved it and we will be back !!

Lovely home on the water and close to historic Normandy sites

Clean and well equipped home with view of the water out the front and a private backyard. Several local restaurants within walking distance. Two of the bedrooms are large and the three others are small but adequate. Owner is very responsive.

Magnifique

Nous avons passé un super week-end en famille dans un lieu idéale. Il ne manque rien que du confort et que dire de la vue de la pièce de vie une vraie carte postale. Les couchages d'une très bonne qualité et les chambres avec des super vues . Le côté jardin très agréable et super pour manger et pour les activités diverses. Et pour finir la cuisine moderne il ne manque rien.À refaire très vite .merci pour l'accueil du fils .

Great loction. Clean well kitted out accommodation.

Brilliant property! Has everything you need and more. Clean and tidy. In a good location next to restaurants, a small Carrefour and bakery - Only 10 minutes away. Would definitely recommend Villa Beauvoir. We will be back.

Lovely family home, pleasant and helpful owners, beautiful view

Our family of seven enjoyed our stay here. We arrived in the midst of an unusual heat wave, and the house has no air conditioning or fans, but the cross-breezes created by opening windows and doors made it quite bearable (other than the living room, in which the front window does not open), and the heat broke on the second day. The house had a fully equipped kitchen in which we enjoyed making a few meals, as well as a washer-dryer (essential during a long trip). The location was within easy walking distance of several restaurants and directly across from the beach. The view of the water was amazing! My children also enjoyed playing soccer in the fully fenced rear yard, which also provided extra parking if the street parking in front of the house was full (one off-street space was included in front of the house). There were four bathrooms (two of which were modern and two of which were more original but still functional) and five bedrooms (three of which face the water). We found this to be an ideal location to explore Normandy and the landing beaches. FX (the owner's son) was very helpful with questions and also assisted us in finding a doctor for an ill family member. We also had a small maintenance issue that he addressed. The French contract posed a challenge, but thanks to Google Translate and my basic French, we became comfortable with it. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.

The PERFECT location for exploring Normandy

This was EXACTLY what we were hoping for during our stay in Normandy! The house looks straight out on the English Channel and is a thirty-second to get onto the beach. Your location in Luc-sur-Mer is peaceful and away from the hordes of tourists visiting Normandy (we departed before the traditional flood of visitors from Paris in July) but you have everything you need in easy access. You are walking distance from a Carrefour grocery store and about a three minute walk from a bakery/boulangerie and equally close to restaurants. All five bedrooms were comfortable and could easily be arranged to take advantage of ocean breezes. The kitchen is as well-equipped as any kitchen we have visited (we have booked houses through VRBO in Germany, France, the UK, the Netherlands, Hawai'i, and New Zealand). Additionally, Annie and FX we extremely helpful and accommodating to our needs and questions (Francis-Xavier was very prompt in responding to texts during our stay when we had questions) during the planning process - we could not have asked for nicer hosts.They truly helped make our stay memorable.
