I’m not sure what went wrong, but when I arrived to check in, they couldn’t find my reservation. Apparently their system didn’t have the information from Expedia. It took almost two hours for them to try to resolve the issue, and during that time I had to go back to my car, drive around, and sit on hold while going back and forth with customer service. I was told an escalating manager would call me back, but that never happened. By the time two hours had passed, I no longer felt comfortable staying there. What made the situation worse was the lack of ownership from the staff. Imagine flying from Atlanta to Lubbock for a black-tie event later that afternoon, arriving around 3 PM expecting to check into your room to rest and prepare, only to get stuck in a customer service loop instead. Overall it was a very frustrating experience. No one seemed concerned that I ended up losing money because of it.

I stayed for 3 days and felt like I was staying somewhere way more expensive than what I actually paid for. The room is comfortable and spacious with plenty of lighting and comfortable pillows and a very clean environment, and the staff was nice and respectful. Best of all, no security deposit if you booked with a debit/credit card. Would stay again!

The room i had nice in view it was updated nicely until the door would stay shut you had to dead bolt with force for it to close the safety lock would not pull open i had a hard time sleeping because of it. Nice room and staff but no coffee pot in room and coffee in lobby was not very good. There was nothing but tiny muffins for breakfast. Also, for being a newer hotel, there was a large gap in the door to the direct outside that let in a draft. But the room was still warm with the heater going.

Room was clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was there were no closets or places to hang clothes and it sounds like the highway is right outside your door all night which it is. Could not sleep due to the noise all night long.

Ok I know this is a budget motel, but it’s not worth the current 9.0 on Expedia. If you’re stone deaf you might not hear the semi trucks braking every 5 mins. The “recent renovation” was likely an improvement but the room still smelled like Kilz and cheap paint and they didn’t even bother erasing the pencil marks off the shower where they installed the faucet handle and soap dispenser. Also… towel racks in the bathroom were not in the renovation budget. If you’re used to sleeping on the floor, the bed is fine. The staff was nice and the property felt safe and was very well lit… I just had a miserable night and checked out a day early and found a new hotel. I’m not sure the staff realized I checked out a day early when I handed them my room card.
No frills. Bring some earplugs.
Come on guys, at least check your work! And consider putting a towel rack in the bathroom??
Maybe touch the paint up a bit
