Golf trip to Valhalla
Overall stay was okay but could have been better had the online listing been accurate. It says it sleeps six but when we arrived, there was only the queen bed and twin futon. The double sofa bed was non-existent, which would’ve been fine had it not been four grown men in their 40’s staying there. The host Kari was contacted and she brought over a twin cot, which was broken but we just put the mattress on the floor. The queen air mattress, which is provided upon request, also deflated which was a bummer.
The internet did not work which made watching TV impossible. Thankfully, we were able to use a hotspot. I know, who goes on vacation to just watch TV but when the weather sucks or you’re winding down, a little TV is nice.
Lastly, there is no air conditioner. This property is located in the basement and stays relatively cool but I cannot imagine what it would feel like in the summer.
Overall, both Cynthia (property manager) and Kari (host), were responsive and willing to help. This stay would’ve been perfect had the listing been accurate.
