Cute loft in transitional neighborhood

Overall, stay was ok. Loft was clean though it did not feel it because the floor in kitchen is very old and looks dirty (though I don't think it was, just wear and tear). Smelled like coffee from coffee shop below, which serves great coffee. We walked around neighborhood which feels like it is on the edge of Germantown. - there are people making investments but it is still transitional. Would not have felt comfortable staying there alone as a single woman.

Great 1-BR stay

The place was a great stay for a long weekend. I didn't use the kitchen but it was fully stocked with plates, glasses, and some fixing's if I wanted to cook. I'd def stay again. The owern's were easy to communicate with and replied to a few random questions promptly.

Almost perfect

I don't have OCD but I'm hyper concerned about short term rentals. We arrived late at night and we felt safe walking from the reserved parking under the weeping willow, about 50 feet to the steps of the loft entrance. The loft itself was great. There was enough space for me to use a full sized inflatable bed. It looked clean and had everything we needed. My kids were able to wash their uniforms every night after their games. Some of the floor planks had minor gaps inbetween that bothered me a little. I have 0 tolerance with bugs and I worry about traveling somewhere and bringing stuff home. The only bug I saw was a firefly that came in with us on arrival. I was worried about being above a coffee shop but we didn't have any issues. My kids left a little bit of food out one night and there were no bugs in the morning. The neighborhood seemed decent with "Nulu" vibes and as the week went on we became less concerned about safety until the 5th night, a man was walking and watched us park. He turned to walk in our direction. I had to keep my kids in the car and had the car ready to reverse as he walked by. He was swinging what seemed like a metal rod in his hand. He left with no issues but on our last day, 2 mornings later, he was sleeping right outside of our door. 911 was called and he was moved along but it kind of ruined that good feeling we had. We wouldn't have felt good staying another night but that is of no fault of the loft owner. That can happen in any neighborhood.

Weekend visit

We had a great time in this neighborhood of Germantown. There is a cute coffee shop below the apartment and it’s walkable to breakfast and breweries. This is a good jumping off spot for the Louisville Ale Trail which is a hidden gem.

Nice apartment

The apartment was clean and cozy and perfect for 2 people. Check in was easy and the host provided us with a list of great places nearby to try. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in town. Street noise can be a little loud but the fan drowns it out and I wouldnt let that stop me from staying here. Off street parking is also a plus.

Loved the place. The traffic noise took a night to get used to but with a noise maker it was fine:). Loved the location and the easy access and off street free parking!! Very clean, AC worked great and the bed was super comfy!!

lovely gem in Louisville

We loved this place. It is a great apartment, awesome location, and it was very clean - the floors are spotless - we do not wear shoes in the house and I was happily surprised that my white socks stayed white. Having a parking spot was very stress-free. It is a little noisy but turned out to be not a problem. Not bothersome during the day, and at night it was easily taken care of by running the fan. Easy walking distance to Logan St. Market. We would definitely stay here again. Louisville turned out to be a pretty fun city, with plenty to do that did not involve bourbon or the Derby (!!). We did axe throwing and virtual reality sims at OVERDRIVE, had an excellent tour at the Farmington Historic Plantation, went to Falls of the Ohio state park, of course walked across the Big Four pedestrian bridge, did an overnight ghost hunt at Waverly Sanatorium, and hiked in the local parks.

Such a fun place!

Had a wonderful stay at the Mary St. loft-style apartment in Louisville! It was a perfect size for two people and had everything we needed included for a comfortable stay. It was nice and clean! We're not used to "living" in the city so the first night was a bit noisy with traffic, etc., but we got used to it quickly and liked the fun, artsy neighborhood.

Beautiful Loft

The loft is beautiful with TONS of natural light. Beautifully decorated. Just be mindful of the reviews about traffic noise. Loft sits at an intersection with a traffic light. That being said we will 100% be return guest. By far the best place we have rented. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!!
