Welcome to Heaven's Porch, a secluded and luxurious private cabin rental by private owner at Yatesville Lake State Park in Eastern Kentucky and sister cabin to Sacred Winds. Located in a secluded hillside this cabin is perfect for your fishing, golfing, family or just a romantic getaway.

One step inside Heaven's Porch cabin rental and you'll feel worries melt away. As good as anything you'll find in the Smoky Mountains without the commercialization, Yatesvillle Lake is the hidden gem of Appalachia. So much to do and see, our cabin provides our guests the luxuries of home.

Heavens Porch sleeps up to 7 guests and features all high end furniture, appliances and electronics including free fiber WiFi. Sitting on the side of a picturesque mountain top within Yatesville Lake State Park in Louisa, KY, this 1,300 square foot vacation lodge is perfect for your fishing, golfing, family or just romantic getaway vacation.

This year around vacation home is a popular stay and play at the famous Eagle Ridge Golf Course at Yatesville Lake State Park in Eastern Kentucky. The Heavens Porch cabin is also a favorite for Romantic Getaways, family vacations or a small retreat.

Amenities include: Indoors - A buck stove propane fireplace, 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bath, custom made Red Cedar Log Queen Bed with Tempur-Pedic mattress, Italian leather sectional and lounging chairs, custom made Red Cedar 6 person bar table and chairs, granite kitchen counter tops, custom log island with bar stools, stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, 60 inch Smart 4K HD TV with Youtube Live tv channels and Netflix on all tvs, arcade game system...... and this is only what's on the inside.

Kayaks available to rent for the duration of your stay. Walk to the lake across the country road, drop in from the cabin. Amazing place to kayak. Guided river tours available through Rebel River Outfitters.

Outdoors: Large 2 story porch with amazing private scenic views, hot tub, porch swing, rocking chairs, and wicker couch, park-like charcoal grill, firepit, over 170 acres of roaming room and the adventures of a life time with Yatesville Lake State Park. This cabin is nestled in a wooded niche on a very secluded hill.

This luxury cabin will resemble the best that the Smoky Mountains or Hocking Hills has to offer and it's all hear in Eastern Kentucky. * Rates are based on 4 guests. To keep the costs low we do not charge a larger rate for only 4 guests. $15 per additional guests is 40% lower than the average cabin rental. Our cabin is comparable to a $275 a night cabin in the Smoky Mountains. Cleaning fee of $49 is significantly lower than the $300 average cleaning fee in Pigeon Forge cabin rentals.

What you need to bring: Your own food, shampoos and soap. Food. Walmart is 5 miles away in Louisa just off Route 23. Only 1 hour away from Carter Caves. Non-Smoking, preferably no pets.

Things to Do: Golf - Nationally Recognized Eagle Ridge Golf Course. Hiking - Yatesville Lake State Park is home to the infamous Mary Ingels Trail 3.5 Miles. ATV Riding - Eastern Kentucky is famous for back country ATV riding including the famous Hatfield & McCoy trails. This cabin is about an hour from a Trail Head of Hatfield & McCoy. Fishing - Some of the best bass fishing in the country is located 1 mile from this cabin. Fish 26 miles of Yatesville Lake, bring your boat. Horseback Riding at Yatesville Lake State Park. We look forward to sharing our personal retreat cabin with you and your friends and family.

There are coon dogs at a neighbors house down the road. They can bark for an extended period. You can't hear them inside however if you are on the porch, you will hear them. For most of our guests they aren't noticable but for a few, they can be annoying. Also you can park a boat or trailer up to 30 feet. 40 foot will be to long to get up the driveway.

Book with confidence. Heaven's Porch and our other cabin Sacred Winds has become a refuge annually for so many. It really is high quality, peaceful and an incredible value.

Looking for a getaway ...and found it

The cabin was everything the listing made it appear to be. I was looking for a secluded place to clear my mind and hunker down for some creative work, and I got exactly what I needed. I got into town a little earlier than I had expected, and one of the owners had just finished putting up some nice simple Christmas decorations all around the place. I would definitely rent from these folks again.

AMAZING!!

We adored this cabin. We wanted a private, clean, and spacious place to stay and THIS WAS IT! Its cozy, well-stocked, and the property manager was super responsive. We enjoyed the giant Jenga, hot tub, and comfy bed. I will say the driveway has a steep turn and you will need AWD if there is snow or ice but we made it up fine in clear weather driving a Kia Soul. We will definitely book again.

Great cabin

Had a wonderful week at a beautiful cabin. Great host and easy to communicate with. Thumps the cat was a very friendly outside pet. This was a excellent place to relax and step out for a bit.

Out of town visiting family.

Property worked out amazing !! Clean, comfortable, easy access and private!! Aaron, the host was very responsive to messages. Some of the other reviews about the power lines buzzing- well that happens when you are situated high up on a hill, near a body of water its science, it is also completely harmless and cause by static in the atmosphere. The other complaints about the dogs barking, they did bark but my children also ran through the hills and acted rather feral and the neighbors didn’t complain about that. This town is full of amazing good country folks. If you are looking for a place to go and just be one with nature you most definitely will find that at this cabin. Just an overall peaceful, pleasant experience. Price point is way better than the one hotel in Louisa. We most definitely will be staying here again, and utilizing Aaron’s cabin.

A Great Getaway

This cabin is great for just getting away and enjoying the outdoors. My family and I stayed and found a bunch of different outdoor activities very close to the cabin. The overall look and what is offered is accurate to pictures posted. Very beautiful place to stay!

Most beautiful stay we've had

The loghome was absolutely beautiful. Between the nature and all its surroundings it was hard to leave. The little black cat and bumble bees made it a warm welcome from the start. The hottub was wonderful! We will absolutely be back again! Thank you to the owners!

Beautiful cabin, beautiful woodwork. Unfortunately most reviews fail to mention the loud electrical buzzing coming off the multitude of power lines right next to the porch. Cabin was unfortunately not very clean either, I found about 20 black inch long hairs in the bed i choose and the other bed had ladybugs crawling over it from an open vent leading outside.

Great Stay.

The cabin was immaculately clean on arrival, and perfect for our plans in the area. Everything was accurate in the listing. We couldn't fire up the stove, but honestly didn't try too hard after the initial attempt. The host was excellent with communication and very helpful. If we're ever back that way we will definitely stay there again. Thank you for letting us use your place, we treated it as if were our own, maybe better :)

Relax and unwind

The drive to the cabin was quite easy, nice large area for parking. The cabin looks like the pictures, and was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Two thumbs up!

Wonderful place to get away and enjoy the changing of the seasons... beautiful views from both decks, and anywhere else on the property. Hot tub, and fire pit appreciated. We did have the unfortunate experience of fighting asian beetles as they wrre looking for warm place to winter... Ive had this problem at my own place in the past, so pulled out the vacuum, and solved the problem. Didnt rate lower ...because...nature!

Weekend getaway

Place was nice and secluded, quite relaxing. We didn’t get use out of the fire pit, it definitely would’ve been better suited out back, and not on the edge of a hill. The cabin could use a good deep clean to be honest but it didn’t ruin the trip. We had a small issue turning on the heat but property manager was there really quickly and was so nice! Next time we will bring our own pillows and maybe try out the other bed, the master was a little rough on our backs lol overall this place is complete with everything you need and mostly well kept! If traveling in winter definitely drive a truck because that drive way is a doozy! Regardless of anything mentioned and not mentioned, we would and probably still will come back. There’s nothing to really do in Louisa, but that was the point, it’s beautiful and relaxing, the hot tub was fantastic! Thanks for a great stay!!!
