"Stayed here for a night on a road trip and I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Beautiful area, very homey and welcoming atmosphere, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious homemade quiche, along with other continental choices. Heidi was the inn keeper during my stay and she was an excellent hostess. Would stay again!"

"This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit. If you feel like shopping or eating out,...

"We had a wonderful time at the Lake. We were in an excellent location and Martin was very accommodating for our dogs. The fenced in yard was a big bonus. We lost air conditioning briefly but that issue was resolved quickly. We definitely plan to come back to Lake Anna. Thank you"

"The location is generally in the middle of nowhere. But oddly enough, my friend and I came down to visit some friends we know who live in Locust Grove. It was a great trip. House was fantastic and the location was perfect right on the water. No issues with check-in. Great hosts. Great location and place."
