We were pleased that the home is as it appears in the photos some of wear and tear. The common areas were comfortable and large enough for our family to all hang out together. We really enjoyed the hot tub too. Our host was responsive and accommodated a late check out. There was water dripping (due to heavy rain) from the ceiling of primary suite that made sleeping difficult. We were also disappointed that the kitchen was not equipped for cooking even though we had asked ahead of time. The host was very interested in our feedback (and we have provided a list to them) so they can be sure to make changes for future guests. If you plan to prepare meals double check on supplies you might need. (things like baking sheets & pans)

Home was beautiful, clean and just as described. Host was super nice and helpful with any questions. The pool and jacuzzi were heated just in time and was perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay and would def return to this property.

House has not been properly deep cleaned in quite some time. Hard food pieces on stove handles that had been there for quite some time. Microwave dirty. Walls,light switches dirty. Plastic water bottle on floor in master bath. Pool dirty, no net to clean it. Pool table broken and taped. Pool table Sticks broken. Couch filthy stained as well as rugs. No TLC taken to make sure a pet property is properly cleaned. No tupperware, so no proper way to save food. No ice trays or ice. Weeds coming out of faux grass. Must pay to heat hot tub. We arrived at 4 and cleaners were still cleaning. Master shower does not get hot, so had to move bathrooms to get hot water. Speaker and old food under outside table.

We stayed here for our bach party and overall had a great experience. The house itself is very big and modern, with a beautiful design and plenty of space. The master bedroom is huge with a very nice, spacious bathroom. All the other bedrooms are nice and quite spacious. Everything looks fresh, and the place's very clean.The staff was helpful and responsive. We did run into an issue with no hot water on the first night, which was very inconvenient as none of us could take a hot shower. We contacted one of the staff members and he came with the maintenance person the next morning and got it fixed, which we really appreciated. Another small improvement would be to provide a hair dryer in the rooms. Also it'd be helpful if there's some instruction on where to find the extra air mattresses and the bedding sheets.

The absolute perfect home

The Modern Serenity Retreat, this home was exactly that. It was beautiful, clean & extremely spacious. The Hosts were so kind & communicative, there assistance/help was extraordinary. Everything was perfect, I cannot wait to stay here again!

My Birthday getaway

From beginning to what I didn’t want to end was so effortlessly awesome! The pictures on the site is very nice, but once you open the door, #boom omg it was so beautiful, huge, clean and fresh! Neighborhood was a plus. I celebrated my birthday with a nice gathering of family and close friends with a birthday dinner party and it was amazing! A time I will never forget. The host made sure I was satisfied from the beginning to end of my stay. Available with a quick response ready to help and assist with whatever I needed! If you’re looking for a great and rare find this is it, and guess what? They leave the light on . See you again soon!

Eventful Stay in Encino

Traveling to Encino for a birthday party and the LA fires ended up being the news around the world. The home was spacious and clean. The home was nicely appointed and very comfortable. We were able to easily host dinners with family. There are so many great restaurants 2-5 minutes away. We were never lacking for anything. Pool and back yard were spotless. A true private oasis.
