- Please advised that our pool has some wear and tear at the bottom, we do twice a week pool service, however you will see some leaves as we have a lot of willow trees next to the pool and their leaves keep falling down every hour

- Please remember this is a home and not a hotel. We ask that you treat the space with care. If any problem arises, we will do our best to take action ASAP

- Please help us not to take basketball and air hockey pucks.

- We have weekly pool services twice a week tuesday and thursday

- Indoor fireplace is not available for use.

-There is a fee to heat up the pool and spa

-Please put the cover of the hot tub/jacuzzi after use.

PLEASE NOTE:

We have exterior cameras in front of the house and at the backyard (pool area) for security and insurance purposes.

POOL
1. If the pool is used and you take out the vacuum, you must put it back in when done using the pool. The Vacuum is what keeps walls and floor clean of bacteria.
2. Intake line “hose” must be disconnected before it is taken out of pool. Otherwise it sucks air and will ruin pump.
3. Do not remove the tablet dispenser from pool. Can’t keep the pool clean without that equipment running.

The stay at the house was good. Only small issue was that they didn’t provide washcloths for the showers and we had to purchase some. Additionally, we didn’t receive check out instructions until after we had left. These were minor things but worth noting.

Just okay

We stayed here with family on vacation to LA for four days. The house is fine, but not as luxurious as it looks in the photos. The pool needs repaired, and there's a fee for heating the hot tub, which was disappointing. The amenities are not great--i.e., there's a pool, but not beach towels, and barely enough regular towels. The pull-out bed was broken as well, so we ended up just putting the mattress on the floor. Communication with the host was only so-so, as a couple things came up while we were here. It was okay overall, but for the price, I feel like you're not getting your money's worth.

Absolutely awful/Greatly overpriced

This was a trip for my students, a parent chaperone, and myself. To start, my students found drugs, psychedelic mushrooms. Next, the pool was cracked, in need of repair, and full of leaves. Corn hole set was no set-1 board, no bags. Cobwebs all over patio furniture. Rusted box with lots of wires sticking out. Garbage disposal broken, 5 minutes to drain and then crud left behind. Starter button broken on grill, couldn’t use. Lopsided basketball hoop with no ball, couldn’t play anyway. A pig pen of god knows what in backyard. Owner refused to refund though my students finding drugs could have led to a lawsuit.

Fine, but not worth the price

I specifically chose this property for the location, size and the pool to host my family. The initial impression was underwhelmed. At first I walk in, and there are many flies and mosquitoes inside the house. We attempted to remove them ourselves, but every one of my family members who visited (10 people) left with multiple bites, 2 with as many as 50 bites per person most of which happened overnight as they slept! And yes, I understand there are going to be bugs outside, but these were inside, and we never left the doors open and only spent about an hour outside before the pool and mosquitoes became too much. The pool and hot tub were both in desperate need of repair and injured my families feet/ruined bathing suits due to the jagged nature of the surfaces in the pool. The host charges for use of the hot tub, which for the price point, I was disappointed to discover. There was no information regarding what is expected at check out. The house itself was fine and in a good neighborhood. It definitely needs a deep clean, but not anything I couldn’t deal with. Overall, I was expecting more considering how much this cost.

Our stay in Castaic

The house was comfortable and we enjoyed our family gathering with a few exceptions. The pool was refreshing but had some wear and tear on the bottom which made it look dirty - but the pool guy came right away and we realized it was just paint abating and not dirt. The garbage disposal didn’t work, and some of the lights in one bedroom didn’t turn on. However, communication was good and we liked the area.

Great, clean place

Communication with the owner was exemplary. The property was clean, and they don't use the Glade plug-in air fresheners that are so horrible, so that was nice. We didn't use the pool or hottub, but they looked nice. Beds were comfy, kitchen well-appointed. Very nice stay!

Lovely home

The beds were so comfortable that I didn't want to wake up to start my vacation. Only 6 minutes away from six flags. Only thing I would suggest is a colander to wash my veggies.
