Cosy gîte with pool, 2 km from Lorgues

Accommodation description:
This lovely gîte is nestled in a rural and quiet area and only 2 km from the atmospheric village of Lorgues. The cottage is on the same estate as that of the owner. In front of the house is a spacious enclosed terrace with a large parasol. Through the side of the house, you come out to the fenced swimming pool, the owner can also use it. Apart from the cosy bedroom, there is another sofa bed in the living room, allowing max 4 people to stay here. Ethernet connection is available
This gîte is located just outside the picturesque village of Lorgues in the beautiful green department of the VAR, also called Provence verte. It's an ideal location because (to the South) you are at the most beautiful beaches of the Côte d'Azur within an hour and (to the North) you are at the impressive Gorges de Verdon (climbing, scrambling and rafting!), the European version of the Grand Canyon, around the same time. Around Lorgues, it will be hard to choose which village to visit, they are all equally beautiful! In any case, visiting the big market on Tuesdays in Lorgues is a must !

Visit the perched village of Tourtour, also known as the village in the sky. Have lunch in the charming village of Flayosc or the cave village of Villecroze and visit a tree-climbing park in Vidauban or Flassans-sur-Issole. For culture and coolness (!), head to the imposing Cistercian abbey of Thoronet. Near Fréjus and Saint-Tropez are the Côte d'Azur's most beautiful sandy beaches. Prefer to tee off? There are several 18-hole golf courses in the immediate vicinity: Domaine Saint-Endréol near La Motte and Golf Barbaroux near Brignoles. At the river Argens near Entrecasteaux (within 10 minutes you can reach the pick-up point by car) a canoe trip is a must, a personal recommendation because you feel like you're in the Amazon. And should we talk about that light pink rosé? Plenty of choice in this area and they are all equally delicious!
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance after 22.00 hour is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home
