"I hate to say this because I really did enjoy the room, the service, the casino and all. But the pool was closed during our stay, which was entirely the reason we chose this hotel over another. It was too late to make other accommodations by the time we checked in, and it was only made clear to us at the service desk that the pool was out of commission. I know it's not a huge thing, but again, it's the entire reason we hinged out stay on this location and it feels like a bait and switch to show...

"Unique hotel in a unique location makes this place memorable and fun. We enjoyed watching the bridge rotate closed just before the Amtrak trains past through. Walking distance from marinas and restaurants."

"Our stay was good overall. The rooms were a little musty smelling, couldn’t figure out why. Everything was clean though, no other complaints."

"The staff was super amazing and helpful when we needed extra towels and things. The only thing that was a little upsetting was the people next door being loud until 1am and than back yelling and screaming at 6:30. (Not the hotel’s fault)"

"The check in was awful. Tried to check in at 3pm, as listed. After 20 minutes of waiting, he said it would be ready at 4pm. We came back around 5pm. After another 20 minutes, he handed me a key card. No real communication, just awful all the way around. Not very clean. My son found a spoon next to the bed on the floor. Would not recommend"

"Not meet expectaion"

"The ad says that the room slept five. When we got there, there was one king size bed, and one full bed . There were four of us guys and not too many guys want to sleep together in a full-size bed. And the staff said that the king size bed would sleep three. I don’t know too many people that sleep three in a bed. That advertising is deceptive. They didn’t offer to give us any other cots or couches or anything because they didn’t have any."

"The room was “clean” but very dated. The hallways were very dirty (stained carpets). Supposedly part of this place has been redone/updated but I definitely was not located there. Based on my room I’d request an updated room or not stay there again. Uses real keys vs keycards which is ok but easier to lose."

"The hotel was clean and offered a good breakfast, and the price was good. The room did have an odor, maybe just an old building smell, but we got used to it after a while. Overall, I would probably stay there again because the location and value made it worthwhile."
